guess what, I just checked you out. I couldn't really help it. One awful thing I need to change about myself. You said that you've personally experienced getting AM within two weeks. But you lied, you had your interview on Sept 14, 2017 and as at October 10, 2017 you didn't get AM. You were even asking questions about how you can appeal because you got denied visa. But thank God you're in DE now, congratulations in arrears. wink Let me kuku continue with my movie while sipping cold zobo.

Obviously you're a kid. I've always mentioned it here that I got a rejection and always advice guys here not to make the same mistake. I got a rejection because I am doing a second degree despite I am qualified for an msc degree. Moreover I didn't outline my reasons for wanting to do a second degree.
I appealed the decision in October and still got AM and arrived Germany before the end of October. Maybe you need to read what the books say about appeal and the duration.

Well I think enough has been said about this and please don't make it a personal thing.
Allow the person make a sound judgement

Dear all,

Let us all move on from this AM timing argument.

It is being overflogged.

When I finish my M.s in Germany, can I move over(migrate) to Canada/US?

Would love a country that its language is based solely on English.

Need answers please

Yeh. That works too. My own admission letter is 13pages, but I'll go with the first 2 pages alone. That's where the admission is. The rest of the pages are additional info. I could be wrong though. Good luck.

Hi guys,

I haven't been on this thread for long. I am one of the Nigerians that benefited enormously from the German Student Visa thread. Sorry, I didn't come here often to give back to the prospective students (Study life and work didn’t make it easy).

I would like to give the following advice to prospective students:

1. Consider the chance to study in Germany a privilege. Germany is one of the few countries that provides the platform for international students (from developing countries) to study without paying a fortune.

2. Life here would not be easy. The point here is, if you are not from a rich family, you would have to work while you study. Unfortunately, in some cases, I have seen fellow international students with misplaced priorities. Some international students (from developing countries) make jobs their "main job", and their study "mini-jobs". Education in Germany is designed in a way that you cannot get rich as a student and succeed in education at the same time. You have to choose one. I recommend you choose a part-time job; this enables you to complete your studies successfully in due time.

3. Learn German. No one expects you to speak the language perfectly. If you spend about 1-2 hours each day learning German, you will reach an intermediate level in 6 months (practice speaking, listening, writing) - In my opinion, speaking and listening are the most important of all. The point is learning, at least, basic German is important to find student jobs because a worker would have to speak German to attend to customers' needs. More importantly, by the time you complete your studies, your proficiency in German would probably be so good that the language barrier wouldn't hinder you from applying to professional jobs.

4. Don't associate yourselves only with your fellow countrymen. Take advantage of the cultural diversity in your respective universities. Respect the culture of your host country and the cultural differences of your fellow students.

5. Once in a while, you might experience racial discrimination (e.g. racial slurs), gender discrimination, or sexual orientation discrimination. Remember this: In life, you will always come across idiots.

6. The first time I was traveling to study abroad in February 2012, the immigration officer who stamped my passport realized that I was traveling out of Nigeria for the first time. Then he looked at me in the eye and asked: "Who are you going there to represent?" Myself, I answered. He shook his head and said no. He asked me the same question again; I said, my parents. He shook his head again, indicating disagreement. Then he finally told me, with a wagging finger: "You are going there to represent Nigeria".

I wish all the prospective visa applicants success in their interviews. Congratulations to those who already got their visa approved. By choosing Germany, I think it is one of the best professional decisions we will make because we can invest in an excellent education – and our professional future – without paying a fortune.

See you all in Germany! And for those that chose NRW, our paths may cross!

Thanks. It's good to interact with students and generally people from other cultures -Arabs, Indians, Pakistanis, Cameroonians etc.
Thanks for the practical advice. I told someone to prioritize his education when he moves to Germany, and people flared up in my
whatsapp group. We need more people like you for these counsels.

yes, I'm a kid. I had to come down to your level. So why did you lie in the first place. That you got AM within two weeks. Because to me, there's nothing to be ashamed about.

I trust you my babe you go bring out the data like VAR .
Abeg we are not saying two weeks is not achievable even German embassy says 4-6 weeks so why give people hope of less ??
And who even told hin that funding early makes your visa fast? Well make una hear many things could be reason for delay resent invent has shown that BSc gets delayed more than MSC and sometimes state or city @pmyke thanks jare the guy wan use our head no mind him

My testimony is not Komplett without mentioning my BFF - heybaby.

She encouraged me all the way. In fact, she is the one that dragged me thru the process.. She did everything for me while I was just sitting there complaining.

She took TP Taglich to meine Haus immer.
I have never seen a friend like this. All this God used her to do for me.

All those she has helped.... She would receive her AM and visa with speed of light today in Jesus name.
Amen!, Amen!!, Amen!!!
