Alphadoor:

From the above.
45 can't be your maximum attainable points,
You need IELTS score : 20pts is a must for a better chance.

In total... You will have 65 (maximum attainable points)..

Check for states that sponsosr your occupation. Visit anzscosearch website for in depth snapshot.

65 will position you well for 190 or 489
Yes sir, I have been preparing for TOEFL for months now,
I'm worried about my no experience and my only qualification is a b tech.

I think you should first check to see the conditions for getting positive assessment with AIQS. Elders in the same occupation can advise. Your NYSC experience, is it in QS?

Pls at the bolded, how do I go about it?

Have you gotten successful assessment, if yes, pls how did you go about it, I only have a degree

Yes, I have done assessment. You can get positive assessment with your first degree only, many people have gotten it as well.

If it's EA, please download the MSA booklet and digest the requirements. You will need to prepare 3 career episodes and a CPD to fit the occupation u nominate

Thanks@bellong..The interview went well for over 30mins.though afterwards, the case officer at vetassess said he still needs to confirm my employment and duties from my direct boss and since i said i do not want my organization to know about my immigration plans that i should furnish him with the details of my manager who can verify my information.

@Bellong. Thank u so much bro..the manager was contacted and was interviewed over 45mins on friday..Today, she got a positive outcome from Vetassess. I am absolutely elated cos sometimes it feels like the visa itself..Vetassess has been a long and torturous journey..Thank u for the positive tips.God bless brother

Hi, Victoria has a pathway for Phd holders, pls does that mean there is an automatic ITA for any phd holder with 65 points?
Is there a high chance of getting it with 75 points(including state point)?
Apart from 2 weeks processing time, is there another benefit for this pathway?
The occupation is Developer Programmer.
Thanks.

Thank you for the response but am just wondering if my HND certificate and transcript are enough since VETASSES didn't specify which one to submit when u have both OND n HND.

An information I did not update in the previous thread. YOU MUST BE UNDER 45 YEARS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE SKILLED MIGRATION PROGRAM.

Hello,
Please, when I take the English language test, how long will it last? Does it have any expiration date?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by highway007(m): 8:13pm On Aug 07, 2018

No quite. Only EA is sure of giving positive assessment without work experience. AIQS actually requires 2 years work experience as seen in the attached document from their website

thanks. Please, I have an HND and a marketer. What are my chances of getting this visa under the skilled programme? And if I qualify, what step should be my first? Thank you.

Good day sir, thank you for all what you have said through out the thread, I have been following this thread silently
Here is my maximum attainable points.
Age - 30 pts
IELTs- nil
Experience - nil ( except nysc, passed out few weeks ago)
Degree - b.tech quantity surveying(five years course) 10 pts
I also saw my skill on the list.

Pls do I stand a chance, I wanted to go for masters but I was directed to come to this thread for PR.

Btech in QS should give you 15 points not 10 points.

Bros I'm just an hustler and not visa agent or an assessor.
I'll suggest you check if your occupation is on the occupation list. If it is, then you can do your assessment.
You can also try and google your questions first.

Good morning House.
It's been a while here.
I went on sabbatical, but I'm fully back now, especially with the good news from Tasmania this morning.
My Tasmania nomination finally came positive this morning. The race has just begun.
Space will fail me if I start to mention all of you by names.
You've been so kind, some of have even become friends sticking closer than families.
THANK YOU ALL.

Congratulations!
You are almost there.
How long did it take to get the ITA from TASMANIA from the day u applied?
I applied for 489 with 65 points(plus state nomination points) on August 1st.
I've been praying since then.

Cheers

Good day house. I need guidance on how to go about my case. I have OND in electrical/electronics engineering in 2006, but I have 11 years plus work experience in a manufacturing company where my job roles have been tailored to the requirements by the general fitter skill (mechanical skill). Will this be acceptable by the TRA or what do you think I can do? Thanks in advance.
