I will not be quick to judge.

Circumstances changes. What if after marriage, their financial situation changes?the worst thing that can happen to any couple, is to bring children into this life,and not be able to feed or take care of them.

A woman has the right to tread carefully when the circumstances are not okay to bring a child into this world.

In my own opinion, threat to life is not the only reason why couple should decide to have less kids. Economy/ finance is one big factor that people tend to overlook.

For many Nigerians "Children are blessings". So they'll keep churning them out, even when they cannot bail themselves from the hospital after delivery.

You can get married for business, to cement ties or a range of other reasons.

Point is this, getring married for children is just narrow (no offense) since you can have children without marriage. If it is kids you want, knack up your landlord's daughter; why go through the stress?

Secondly, it's high time we start encouragn less privileged parents(newly wedded couples, societal downtrodden etc) to embrace birth control measures, know their earning as to know the number of children they can Carter for adequately.
This will go a long way in putting an end to hardships, hooliganism, terrorism, street urchins n destitutes littering d environment.

In this harsh economy.. people no they born much children like that...
