I really don't know what is going on with the writing. As if the people passing LRS are not using the same English to take the Writing test.

Registered for the exam on 2nd July and chose the next available date of 28th July. I was kinda scared but God showed himself strong on my behalf.

During my speaking, I didn't hear one of the questions
In part one. The examiner repeated and I still didn't hear. Lol. His accent no gree me hear. During the part 2. I spoke all I can remember and stopped before the normal time elapsed. Infact, I was expecting a 5 for speaking and had already started reading for another test and the Lord did this wonders for me.

My first attempt ooooo. Self practice ooooo. God ooooo

To the glory of God,I wrote ielts once and had 8.5 in reading. Always read your questions first, pick up key words as regards a particular question, find the word in the passage,read around it and pick your answer. I never read any passage completely. Don't waste time in sections 1&2. Be conscious of true,false and not given OR yes,no and not given. Never interchange them. Above all practise,practise and practice. Download ielts reading app for GT,it helped my practice a lot! Then the road to ielts marker. Practice until you get to 40marks. Be conscious of the instructions; if the instruction says 3 words only, NEVER write more than 3 words. Remember in ielts everything is a word including is and the.
Finally, practice and develop your own strategy!!!
The next is your last, in Jesus name!

Amen. The LMIA is basically for applicants who already have a job offer in Canada. It does not apply to you if you do not have a job offer.

Mine has taken more than 15weeks since April 25. After sending several mails without any response, i was able to contact them through facebook messenger where i had a long and fruitful chat because apparently my EOR has been lying in their Lagos Office for God knows how long (I'm based in Port Harcourt). Long story short they have sent me a mail to pick it up next week. So maybe you should try what i did. Good Luck

Hi fam,

I have searched the previous threads and checked out Glitteringstar's feedback on below but i didnt see the part that had the *one semester* bit.

So here is my question...

My ECA says "Completion of a college-level certificate (one semester) and bachelor's
degree (four years)" does this still imply 2 or more certificates because of the "one semester" clause?

Funny, after writing i scored myself a 6 and when the result came out i got an 8. I though slept and breathed IELTSJay structure which i believe helped a whole lot.

Humbling, frustrating, crazy and annoying "close to perfect result"!!

The 30 June ielts result would have sealed off this trauma but I missed my speaking session (lrws - 9,8,7,N.A)

May almighty God bless you as you volunteer to help.............preparation for the next IELTS don start b dat No time to cry over spilled milk. Moreover, I am heading to the registry tomorrow with my bae , so one yamayama ielts result cannot spoil my mood.

Ielts score included, work experience,I’m 28 yes old. I choose No for the lmia options, cos I don’t know how it works. Also having a siblings there, I choose no. Can someone actually use a friend in Canada? And how does the lmia works for me? Cos I have started tutorials on the ielts. Thanks

Can’t comment on the LMIA but I can on your IELTS/CRS. I want to also assume you’re single and without a masters degree? If you can max out IELTS L8.5 R8 W7.5 S7.5 (it’s not impossible) then you can get a decent CRS 441

it is always that 0.5, I believe they know how damaging it is undecided
