What happened to 'The customer is always right' rule in business? Those guys should close their bank accounts with Fidelity bank and slam them a lawsuit for assault. In fact, if they do it rightly, they'll hammer from the lawsuit.

How can you call those senseless people who were meant to secure lives and property to beat up a disgruntled customer simply because your bank was insulted?

They might not be the banks direct customers since they only went to transact on the Tellering machine .Closing their accounts will not be an option in this case. However if the story is true it still doesn't give the manager the right to give such orders. We are too emotional in this country. I am sure whatever issue they had at the machine could be easily resolved without all this drama.

Believe me when I tell you this, that Manager or lady in Blue will have lots of explanations if the 'Regional Manager or head office sees this.
Banks don't protect their workers on issues like this that have gone public, they generally tend to or pretend to or appear to side the customer.

As long as this has been made public, some jobs will definitely be lost. No matter what could have happened, you NEVER exert violence on your customer. Even if he/she stole within your premises, you hand them over to the authorities. Lord knows if I was a fidelity bank customer, I would have gone there to close my account.
