Hello everyone ,
I am new here, I want to know if I can enter the next pool even though I am pregnant. My husband is the primary applicant . We are both resident in Ireland , so we would be processing our application from here .

It's 0621 alright but a little close to the listed duties of the NOC. Rephrase o.
Zeiya:
@Newmum0615
please help and check this Job description for NOC 0621.

Thank you

Looks like you pay a separate fee for each credential you want to evaluate. Is that the case? I'm asking cos someone intends to use them and he has 2 degrees he wants to evaluate.
Shyee:

I'm about to use ICES too, from my Readings, it's about a month after all your documents are delivered! Pretty fast eh? Yeah!

Of course you can. You only need to inform them of a birth not pregnancy and that's post ITA but best to have enough POF to cover the unborn baby

So far u didn't indicate if you have a nursing degree? as the response you got from WES mentions that WAEC verification is compulsory for persons with a nursing degree as of now regardless of when application was submitted.

Your response will help provide clarity for those still expecting their ECA completion with WES.

Wishing you a speedy processing for your WAEC verification. it will end in praise

Shyee:

Thanks. I am considering going to WAEC to complete the process... Already initiated ICES too. Someone said, avoid being Penny wise, pound foolish. Canada is worth the expenses.
Our slogan: It shall end in Praise. Ain't giving up now smiley

The pool is only one and is very wide, it can accommodate you guys. Whenever he is ready, buy him a swimming pant so he can dive into the pool.

So I've been MIA since somewhere in the middle of pt 4.

First thing I checked when I logged onto this thread was pg 1 to see the names of people who got PPR in pt 4. In particular, I looked for @Newmum and @Ethiele's names. I sincerely and honestly rejoiced greatly when I saw their names. I'm so happy for you guys particularly as I have a fair idea of the long wait you went through.
Congratulations to all others as well. Ours will come soon in Jesus name.

I'm still waiting for Iqas to send my ECA. Also studying for Ielts as well. It will all end in praise by the end of this year!

I understand but how about the issuing institution sending the credentials to WES online? I'm just being curious though.
Shyee:

WES got back to me on this, they said, they need the issuing institutions to send the credentials to them in sealed envelopes as part of their (WES) verification requirements. I didn't want to pursue the case further, because deep in my mind, online verification may be better guaranteed than the manual process.

You have a BSc, with 3 points still to claim from IELTS. That should get you to a safe 441 when you grab it. You may also choose to get a second certificate and lift the score to 471 with "2 or more certificates...". If the latter is your preferred choice, indicate and get the possible options.

You cannot claim points for a friend, only family. Good luck

On the addition of one more cert to gain more scores, does one have to send the second cert to ICES for verification m?
I learned you have to verify only your highest qualification...

No. Thinking of evaluating the same degree with the two different bodies.

COPR:

You can PM me if you need a contact in NECO office Minna that can quickly confirm the result, send to WES within 5 days and also reply verification email from WES, instead of waiting for weeks.

Thanks. I'll PM you when I get a confirmation the application has been sent to Minna. The woman did say the forms submitted so far will be dispatched next Monday.

Good afternoon House,

I have a staff loan on my payslip. Can it affect my chances? Please note that my POF is a gift deed from both my husband and my mum. My salary doesn't have anything to do with the POF.

Thanks.

Goodmorning, please I heard we have to verify our WAEC result on WES, How do I go about it and how much is it. Also my third name YEWANDE and my original waec result states YETUNDE Hope this won't be an issue ? If it is how do i go about retifying it ? Please help me

If you have not paid WES, Why not just use ICES? To avoid stories that touch.

Why not, you can enter the pool. If you get ITA before you put to bed, you will still continue and update them once you give birth.
Do not wait till you give birth before commence.

Are you the primary applicant? If yes, you can skip the payslip or do a letter to explain it but the former is preferable.

You will pay for each certificate you want to evaluate but you pay less for upgrade. For 2 or more cert, you pay 275 for Bachelor/OND and 150 CAD for PGD/HND.

This only apply to Masters or PHD alone. If you need two or more certificates, all the transcript must be sent to them.

Yes, you will enter details for your B.Sc. what they asked is your Education history not what you evaluated.

That's quite unusual. If your cards are activated for international purchases it should be able to make the payment on ACRO. I used a GT card and it worked well. I suggest you try a friend's or any other person's card.

[qwuote author=Transformium post=70181809]
Newmum0615 ...Did you use a Nigerian bank card to pay for your UK PCC? I have tried all my cards but I keep getting the error "transaction declined contact merchant"

Called the banks and they said the payment isn't hitting their system.

For reference purpose, and for those following up with me. WES sent me the following message in response to the message I sent them [underneath their response]

Thank you for contacting World Education Services (WES).

The requirement you mentioned in your email is with regards to evaluating university credential. Application to evaluate a university degree earned in Nigeria and submitted before August 3, 2018 does not require the WAEC. Be advised that the WAEC is required to evaluate a nursing certificate.

Best Regards,

Christian N.
WES Customer Service

Thanks shyee for the update, we hope they will do something about it soon.
