Trouble looms ahead. I thought the claim that the stuff soldiers are made of is obeying the last command. A lot have changed this little while. If the soldiers who are trained (robot-like) to face death without considering whatever risk that lurks in the act of doing so now find excuses or whatever to do what is demanding of them, who worship order and respect hierarchy like God now have the effrontery to disobey, threaten and even rebel against the stance of their superior under any guise, nothing can be presumed to be right.

The day the gallant warriors who are sacrificing everything they hold dear for Nigeria to remain and for every Nigerian to live stop being loyal and being made scape goat, we all know that we are sitting on gunpowder.

Well, it's high time those superiors respect the right of the surbodinates to at least have access to their families once a while.. It's pretty unfair and an act of inhumanity to man at its peak.

BREAKING: Angry soldiers ]ground Maiduguri airport, threaten to shoot superiors

There is currently tension at the Maiduguri international airport in Borno state as angry soldiers are shooting indiscriminately to protest their deployment from the state capital to another local government.

The aggrieved soldiers reportedly arrived at the airport at 6pm ahead of their posting to Marte local government area.

But trouble started when they regrouped and refused to board the aircraft which ought to convey them there.

The soldiers who are of the special forces said after spending over four years in Maiduguri, they ought to be sent back to their families and not to be posted to face death.

An officer who witnessed the incident said superior officers, including Bulami Biu, general officer commander (GOC) of 7 division, were asked to stay off the airport or risk being shot.

“The second batch of pilgrims from Borno boarded their flight amid the commotion,” the source said.

“The special forces are ready for trouble. They are really angry. The superiors were asked to stay off or be killed.”

There is something very 'un-natural' about this Govt.

The issue here could stem from two things:
- The top Echelon of the military dont have access to illicit money, like they use to do in the past hence, they even digging deeper into the solddiers welfare package
- The Neptosim of this administration is getting to brazen abd unbearable, even for a soldier sworn to obey the last order. Posting the same set of soldiers on suicide missions while they see some of their mates doing soft-targets or body guards to politicians can really be demoralising.

Either way, it portends a breakdown of chain of command and danger to our democracy.
But me, l am really tired of these useless, decamping and selfish politicians, l hope soldeirs will sieze all of them in that NASS and just do Nigerians a favor.

How many Power stations have they built?

How many Ports, schools, Hospitals, Water Works, etc have they built? Now look at how much they have stolen and how much they "legally" steal. in form of payments to themselves.

Democracy is desirable, better than any military Govt but we dont have a Democracy yet, what we have is just a bunch of criminals masquerading as Democrats.... these leeches all deserve to be reduced to rubble, in one fell sweep, in that their NASS.
