"Why I Visited Obasanjo" - Bukola Saraki by Gucciblog: 10:45pm On Aug 13, 2018
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has disclosed what he called “the main reason” why he visited ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta on Monday.

Saraki had held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the latter’s pent house within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta on Monday.

Saraki, who came in a black Toyota Land Cruiser in company with some security aides, arrived the OOPL around 5.30pm.

He emerged from the meeting at 7.12pm.

Our correspondent gathered that the meeting was earlier scheduled to hold at 4.00pm but it did not start until 5.30pm when Saraki arrived the venue.

Emerging from the meeting, Saraki told journalists that he was with Obasanjo to make up for his (Saraki’s) absence at the formal inauguration of the Presidential library held last year.

He said, “You know, I missed the official opening of the library and that is why I have decided to come and see the place and, honestly, it is beautiful.

“We are very proud of what he has done here.”

The embattled Senate President hurriedly entered his vehicle and it zoomed off when journalists asked him questions about the crisis rocking the National Assembly.

Informed sources, however, said that the meeting was not unconnected with the crisis rocking the National Assembly over the plot to impeach him by the All Progressives Congress senators.

No wonder he has no loyalty to any political party. This is a man that cannot be trusted. And he just had a meeting with another one that specializes in sleeping with his children's wives?

You just cannot make this up. What a dream team.

My question is, why did you not tell us these things in 2014 when he defected to APC? It us just like tomorrow you start telling us about how Amaechi betrayed Jonathan. While today, you hail him as a lion.

Am not trying to be partisan but:
-What ever happened to the other 74 banks that went moribund aswell? Why single out SGBN? (I see giving a dog a bad name to kill it).
-sacrificing His father and sister, who voted for him? Was it his father and sister? (I see a goal getter).
-loyalty to political party, would you say same for CPC, ACN and NPDP? Buhari and Tinubu? Apc and Akpabio?
You used to analyze sitting on a balance, i guess change happened.

Apc does not understand that their fear of saraki only aggravates people to reason "why not saraki"?
Maybe some reasons being:
-We have found out he is young and healthy,
-He is vibrant,
-He is the 3rd most powerful Nigerian,
-He is from NC with strong ties to SW and core North,
-He is in the opposition majorly tied to SS and SE,
-The nations security outfit all over him may have just given him a face of democracy,
-He has his bad sides no doubt which all politicians do,
-He has shown his capability heading the NASS, uniting both the ruling party and opposition,
-He can bankroll his ambitions and no godfather needed but rather mentors,
-He would retire a lot of politicians much older than he is.

Is this not what the youths have been clamoring for? Why are they molesting him from joining the contest like his fellow citizen Buhari?

zombies have taken over.

its not the constitution that is the problem of Nigeria, Nigeria constitution would have worked in a white man country. the problem with Nigeria is a black man problem. the fact its affecting the most populous black nation, where there are no white involved but completely run by Black's, its an evident that blacks can't govern themselves in a bigger and broad nation. the black man greed to power and other verse including infrastructural development is not a black man thing if we should look back at where we are coming from. the white man forced this task on us.

black can only thrived in a smaller colony or a detached nation like other smaller black countries are thriving to managed themselves like in little infrastructure, electricity and other basic need from easy life and food to mouth. but for a Blackman to control a bigger country with diverse people and interest with prospect of economy growth, development both in technology and infrastructure, a robust giants kinda of country like China to play a lead roles is simply a night dream and those thinking about it should better wake up. south Africa and Nigeria is an example to that. the black man have a problem and its a God problem.

may be that's because he's foolish and he doesn't know it because only a foolish man believes he's smart and everyone else is foolish.
