I think the problem is that Taxify counts 30 sec to the first person the request goes to, once the person misses it maybe by network or whatever reason it goes to the next person by 20 secs, then next 10 secs then 5secs, the unlucky person is the person getting it on 1 secs. That's the only explanation I can come up with

Missed an important request, I accepted it loads and say client cancelled, till now no other requesr.

This your analogy is low in probability. I doubt 3 different drivers will miss a single request in a row. The culprit is bad network, I notice my network not being strong when this happens

Lite is same as Uber, except Uber removes 1.1 boost all over Lagos

Lite pays better than uber 1.1, my opinion.

Hello experts. I'm want to invest in Uber/Taxify, I have a tight budget which will only get me a Nigerian used car. Most people are saying I shouldn't buy Honda because of ball joint issues that Toyota is the better choice. Is there anything wrong buying an auto transmission Accord, Civic or City? Is buying a manual Toyota Corolla/Yaris going to be a good choice?

I won't be the one driving, I patiently might for honest opinions.

Chillex come o. Another dead car to be added to the platform for desperate drivers. I'm sure he will want to collect insurance fee and still expect 35k weekly

Forget about all those maintenance, our roads are not good, even gas we buy are contaminated. A vehicle driven on naija road for 3 months will surely be diff from toks.

Bros I have never seen anyone buy a naija used car and "really" enjoyed it.

I might be wrong with the newer cars especially those "island used" ones, but the older ones that has seen three or more years on our roads just ain’t worth it in my opinion.

I might be wrong but it is usually safer to save a bit more and a toks and give it to a "good driver" who has a good maintenance culture. That way, you still have 2-3 years of cha cha life on it.

Here lies the problem, what is the assurance that the driver will be one that would maintain the standard of the toks? Driver could turn toks into dead in 2months oh

That is where luck comes in bro.

I have seen people use cars and it still looks like toks three years on after a good wash. Whereas some of my friends have totaled their cars in four months of buying it.

Yes well said,
was speaking with one today, was asking him how many cars he has driven on the platform, he mentioned 6 shocked shocked shocked shocked. Why do you keep changing cars bro, haven't u seen a good deal n awesome car, he was beating around the bush, to me his just a bad driver, a good driver should fall in love with the car his driving thereby maintaining it to standard.

Don't accept any trip that will take you beyond festac, it is a no go area now. If you must, it should be on offline at least 3k per hour.

Next time just find a way of getting 4 or 5new request to cancel. Client cancelled, rider did not show, what have you. I won't dash them the 1750 just because of activity unless it's on 50%

That place is a no go area for now. Tanker and Container don block everywhere. Me and rider for quarrel last week sunday on a trip to Ago palace road through second rainbow. If not for my calm nature it would have been a serious issue. A trip that is suppose to cost her like N1500 was N3800. She was just raking, i was calming her down “madam sorry for d inconvenience”. At d end she alighted from d car and paid me my money complete. When I checked my phone, rating dropped from 4.80 to 4.65.
