Landing gist!!!!!.

Arrived Winnipeg safely by the special grace of God. Left Nigeria very early on thursday morning. Got to airport around 11pm and was checked in around 3am ( flight was 6am Air maroc). Make sure no liquid in hand luggage and be bold to answer all questions. ensure all bags are within expected weight.

immigration cleared ( naija and bribing). the man delayed me that I must give him something which I did not yield.
Took off and said bye bye to naija. Entertainment was fair but not fantastic as expected. slept off until first stop over- Casablanca. Was lodged for the waiting hours to second leg. Entertainment also ok and I relaxed well in the lounge.

Left Casablanca to Montreal and journey was smooth. Cleared at immigration Montreal. Got cleared and was issued study permit. hold all documents close to u ( don't put them in checked in luggage) - correspondence letter, admission letter, funding or tuition fee receipt e.t.c.

flew air canada to winnipeg from Montreal .

Canada is a beautiful place. Wishing all TRV hopefuls good news; landed students successful stay, hopeful applicant be determined.

It will end in praise.....

It should be in your Letter of acceptance. Mine was in my letter of acceptance so I uploaded the letter there also.

For those who filled in their questionnaire that work was required for study... May I what document to upload for the file 'evidence for work required in study'?

funny you... how is asking a question attacking you
Linzo:

If you care to know what I'm doing here, then I will tell you Mr curious. I got admission to Brandon university and currently putting together documents to apply for study permit next week by God grace. Instead to attack the message which is the theme of discussion but you rather prefer to attack my person.

Its people like you that make it difficult for genuine students to get their Visas. You want to get to Canada with a study visa, after which you will get there and not study but start looking for Jobs. Mr Man or Mrs Woman, Please this forum is for people that really wanna study and not look for Jobs. So find ur square root and look for a forum for Jobs. And am sure if you apply for a study permit with this desperation mindset, you will be kindly refused. So its better you change ur mindset to go study or you go find a forum for Canadian Jobs.

Hi Ope, well I will advice you dont reply to those responses like you did. they are trying to make you see reasons why the question is not a profitable one but in an harsh manner. please if you have that mindset of coming to work without enrollment in the school is dangerous. people do it alot here not only Nigerians, but mind you IRCC always contact the various learning institutions to know how well all international students are doing and also to know if there are enrolled in their various program. you can work and be enrolled in your program and as a graduate student you can work for 20hours a week which is fair enough. but please do not try to work with your study permit without enrollment. thanks

No you don’t , it’s a TRV and a study permit which will be granted at the border.

ETAs are for countries with stronger bilateral ties with them

How long does it take for status to change after submitting through paper route? PS I did upfront medicals. The only thing there at the moment is “your application is being processed at the Canada visa office”
