Initially all those terms were used. Negroid also is a Spanish term referring to dark-skinned people. Those terms are no longer used.

Negroid is a derogatory term now. As was coloured etc.

It's not true. Brazil, Barbadoes, Haiti, African American and all the Islands slaves originate from Africa. All those dark skinned people with kinky have have African DNA.

The reference of Negroid or African all depends on who the author is. Most European author referred to us as Negro. That's an unacceptable term as much as they are not comfortable with Caucasian.

All dark skinned authors referred to us as Africans. European motive was to twist history and make it easy for them and also pass on derogatory remarks to make you hate yourself.


Any dark skinned person with Afro hair originates form Africa. Those people were slaves taken from the West of the continent through transatlantic slave trade.
