Hi guys,

Please, how can I get a long-term visa appointment booking? I have been checking since last month and nothing is forthcoming, still no available date. I was online all night (about 5hrs), I kept refreshing the page as I was adviced that the release new appointments overnight yet nothing. To make matters worse while checking through the night the month of November appeared but still no booking slot.

Is there another way of getting an appointment? I'm supposed to resume work by September and my employers in Germany are already working on my permit but I still need an appointment from the Consulate here.

Any advice?

Passau University, Anhalt University, bamberg University, Beuth University, University of Bremen, city University and many odas accept up to 2.7 GPA. You just have to search. Make Google your best Girlfriend. When I was applying, I practically searched for all the Universities in Germany. I checked more than 30 University website all cus my GPA wasn’t good enough. Right now I know all Universities in Germany, it’s now asif have been there b4 grin...I applied to more than 10 schools. Both tru uni-assist and tru normal Applications. I got rejections from almost 10 Universities. It was very frustrating. I decided to apply to UK schools to see if my village people are really hunting me. I got about 3 admissions in Uk and also in Austria. I wanted to use them as my backup plan Incase Germany no gree gv me admission. To my utmost surprise I later got admission into two different schools. So my point is don’t give up, no matter how poor ur BSc result dy.

Congrats bro, what was your CGPA in German grade, I have a friend who go admitted with CGPA of 3.0

Hello house,

I did my interview about two weeks ago with a passport that is going to expire within a year. can I go do renewal and send the renewal to the embassy when they request for my passport, know that biometrics was done with the old one and immigration may likely collect the old one as the only visa in it is to an Africa country which isn't significant to me.

Also,

A friend did his interview last week Friday, only for him to misplace his international passport in transit to IMO from Lagos state. can he do a new one and send to the embassy with a police extract and court affidavits when he hopefully gets his AM?

thanks

Get a new one but summit both. It will help u get ur complete duration during visa extention.

Let ur friend do just as u 've stated.

I want to say congratulations to those who have gotten admissions and also those who have gotten their visas, come to DE and succeed. It has been long here, I couldn't believe that within 2 months, this section has gotten to 174 pages. I hope I have not missed a lot. For those that are still waiting, your heavens will open very soon. Finally, I am sorry for being away at the peak of admission and visa application processes, German duties call. It has been easy not to say otherwise; but all in all, it is well.

If you have pm me and you have not gotten a response, please do so again (but not "I need your whatsapp number" kind of pm) please.

NOTE: This information goes to those that have gotten their visas, "make una all come with my wine ooo, otherwise, what happened in 1930 will happen again gringringrin. Shalom

I happened to read just 19 pages outta the 174 pages. Well, I'll be 25 next two months and I'm in 300L, mechanical engineering in a federal university but I'm tired of this school, mainly because, I don't have passion for mechanical engineering again, I'm drawn to programming, maths and electronics now. I've always wanted to go for robotics but no school here covers it, hence my application to mechanical engineering.

I plan on going for electrical engineering in Germany. I made a first class in 100L. I want to go for bsc since it's just for 3 years and I'll want to get admitted during summer next year.

What are the things I need to put together?
Are there scholarship for undergraduate 'cause what I see here are mainly Msc scholarship?

Since one needs a 100L transcript, is my result good enough for admission?

What was your answer on doing another MSc instead of PhD? please reply bc I have MSc too.

I told her PhD is purely a research based degree but msc has a lot of course works along with research and so at the end you are well grounded in that particular field of study. She said ok and nodded

Very good enough sir....u are over-qualified sef!

There are scholarships for undergrad but mostly for those who have already done two or more semesters in Germany....The normal undergrad scholarship is not as much as masters scholarship....If u can, try and get the block account money or get SL because robotics can take u places in that country. ..I love robotics but I don't have any previous knowledge in engineering so am a bit scared of it!

Hello everyone, started following this thread yesterday. I must say you all are doing a great job here. With few random pages I have browsed here. I think am now ready to scan through daad.de for the preliminaries (getting a suitable uni) afterwards, will update everyone with my findings and what steps next..... Pls, any additional suggestions on Uni''s and follow through guide will be a welcomed gesture for a newbie of graduate of elect/elect (2.1) seeking for a scholarship position for an msc in an ee related discipline. Thanks in anticipation.
