Yea, android box is easy to use. (mostly comes with some pre-installed apps). I sold my ki pro a week ago to switch to FreeSat GTC. It arrived Lagos today. I will unbox it next week by God's grace.

If you choose hybrid box, an installer will be required for fta installation.

Note: android box needs heavy data to be effective.

79-100$

Data? U need 250-400 data to stream full match. (depending on the quality).

I also tried renaming to rom.bin, flashfile.bin, it just didn't work, it was still displaying no match file. Pls I there another way out?

@blackz, Evening. Kindly note that the s\w links i posted are compatible and a "No Match File" is sometimes inevitable; the s\ws were based on S\W Version SCB4 V7.11.18 according to the STB INFO you provided.

Confirm the following:
1. What is the size of the flash file in 3D Lazer 9950 PLUS HD- 4Mb or 8Mb?
2. Is the STB a sim receiver or connects to internet via USB modem?
3. Does the STB have a Multi-Media Interface?
4. Does the STB support tCAM server?
I will also need a snapshot of the main-board revealing the chassis ID.

NigComSat has not blinked all day. It has been working well all throughout till now: early Sunday morning
Some live pictures from Tv Taraba, Tv Kano and Immigration channel are attached

By the way, TStv shares the same satellite. It will be double enjoyment once you nail NigComSat

Track DSTv first on 36' E
Now input NigComSat parameters on 42.5 E
Move your dish slightly to the left

TStv is on this same satellite

2. The STB connects to the internet via wifi/usb modem
3. Yes, it has a multimedia interface, where you find multimedia, multimedia setting, patch, sharing & DQCAM
4. For tCAM server I cant say cos I don't really understand that. Pls find attached a snap shot of main-board.

Technically, Yes.
Since the new satellite hosting TStv on NigComSat satellite on 42.5' E is track able by using 60 - 90 cm dish
Once you track NigComSat, you only need to enter the tp for TStv
So much for the theoretical considerations. For practical considerations one is better off using 90 cm dish. There will be less of skipping and incidents of loss of signals
