to be honest, if any politician in any part of the world has his or her way to cling on to power for life, they would do so with all passion! This is not only peculiar to Nigeria and Africa alone. I've been saying this over and over. Look at The Bush family, look at Putin, what about Merkel or Erdogan. Even Obama, from being a senator o, still went ahead to run for 2nd term. The only difference is Nigeria and Africa cling on to power for the wrong reasons more than for the interest of the people they lead.
