Assuming if everybody is being taking care of,good roads, affordable education, monthly stipends for the unemployed, good training with interest free loans for startup, then ipob, bokoharam, probably herdsmen won't have opportunity to thrive.
I still believe we have a long way to go in this country

Questions are very sincere,we bear the brunt of the Fulani herdsmen because of our business who has to do with food production.

Everybody must collect their PVC and get involved to vote wisely, to vote for candidate that will eradicate and solve these problems.

I have no affiliation with any political party but just one of the Nigerians who want positive change at the grassroot

No the are not.
The are lopsided, and we know the direction it is tilted, I am nonpartisan and I know a nonpartisan argument when I see one, you are trying to invoke something based on emotions, not reason .

It is unfortunate that criminal elements are being involved in the farmers/ herders issue. It is unfortunate that lives have also been lost.

Let's all come together to fight this criminal activity not politicise it, the job of a government should be making and implementation of policies. Security, security situations and security apparatus are not supposed to be politicised, it is unfortunate the situation we see ourselves in.

Cheers.

When you see people you know killed by criminals, its emotional, when you see your source of livelihood disappear before your own eyes,it is emotional
when properties you have worked for for years to acquire vanish within minutes, it is emotional; so therefore our heart and emotions must be involved if tangible solutions to put a stop to this senseless killings.

The earlier its being put to a stop, the better to prevent short supply of food, hunger and increase in poverty rate among the people mostly affected.
Every Nigerians must continue to speak out against the killings until something urgent is done to it by people in government
so brother, that's the aim of this thread.

cheers.

Yes we will continue to speak out, but we will not politicised it, by shouting PVC alongside it.

Security situations are dicey because security personnels have Politicial affiliation too.
Our security personnels are supposed to be professionals irrespective of who or what they support and it should be independent of the government in power.

Half of this security guys are following politicians irrespective of their party affiliation, some are doing sentry jobs in companies, others have turned to VIO terrorising our roads, it didn't start today.

No matter how good a supervisor is, if just one of his work men think of individual interest not collective goals that team will suffer.

The security challenges should be a collective and continuous effort and should not be associated with politics.

My political thought this morning

I believe a political system whereby ideology supercede personal interest is the only way to move this nation forward.
it is either we create it now or we might not make it as a nation.

#justthinking

A system should be in place to guide against playing politics and rising to power through the line of tribalism, religion and sentiments.
If nothing urgent is done,Nigeria being one of the developed economy might just be a pipe dream not realised.

How can a man be a stranger in his own country?
We can't take it anymore.

All hand must be on deck to achieve that.

We need good roads, better electricity, infrastructure, education etc
we have resources that can provide and sustain this but we lack good leaders to pull it through.
When are we going to get good leaders in Nigeria?

Politics of bitterness, hate will get us no where.
We need to create a system that will sort this kind of people out from people of ideology in the political space.
