Let me shed some light... Jesus Spirit died and went to paradise/ Abrahams bosom. On the 3rd day His Spirit came back into His body and after being seen by many for forty days. He then ascended to heaven with his body to his Father..

When a pledger, pledges money it doesnt mean the money pledged is already or really in the hands of the pledgee yet.
The spirit was pledges 40 days earlier, the Pledgee got the spirit 40 days after resurrection (i.e. 40 days after the pledge was made)

And besides your posts,speech,statements on this forum will affect the consciousnesss of weak and/or baby christians,it will even affect the receptiveness and spread of the Gospel and personally there is nothing more that i would hate.

Hello miss ... Honestly speaking u made sense from your observation at op but the truth is this :

At luke 23:46 , Jesus commend is spirit or breath into the fathers hand , this doesnt mean he was in heaven that day simply because the spirit in man and animals is the breath of life withing them ( Gen 2:7 , Job 32:8 ) . Thats the point

But Jesus himself is dead and was buried in the grave , where he spent three days ( matt 12:40) but on the thrid day , he was resurected , yes is breath of life was restored , and he once again became a LIVING BEING.

The misconception at op arise from the wrong notion that the spirit in man and animals is an immaetrial entity hangin on the walls of their body . Thats very wrong .

The creation of man says the ' ruach /breath or spirit/ of life was breathed into Adams Nostrils! Nostrils ' NOT fused inside his body . Genesis 2:7

The problem that some had with the op is that they are trying to cover one low with another or several others, the op (though not understanding the first lie) knows that it is a lie that only futher lies will help cover up.

The first lie is that man is a spirit being housed in a body. This lie can only be supported by other lies which will require the bible being turned up side down .

These first lie was created to accomodate another first lie in another section that requires man to be consious at death so that the belief in hell fire can be accomodated.

The bible does not support this lies, and there is no direct statement in the bible to support these lies. With no direct support, a misunderstanding/ mis explaining of the scriptures had to be adopted.

Do we have individual spirits?
No, the bible even says the spirit in animals(another living soul) is the same as that of man.

Are we spirits in flesh?
No, the bible says man is flesh.
God called man "flesh"
In the creation of adam , adam was said exist before the breathe of life came to be blown into his nostrils.

Infacte when Jesus say "my God why has thou forsake me" this prayer prove my point.

Jesus did not deny ascended to the father, the reason he did not want Mary to touch him is because Jesus has already crucified the sins of the world and if Mary touch him will stain the PURITY of Jesus, infacte Mary could be killed because a sinner cannot come near the holy of holies.

So he was lying that he hasn't ascended to his Father ?

1. Scripture instead says that Humans are not born spirits but physical bodies(of the clay of this earth) animated by the breath of God - Genesis 2 vs 6-7. Jesus Christ said the only way for a human to acquire a spirit of its own while in this life is by becoming born-again - John 3 vs 5-8. So, yes the Christian idea is wrong and so also is yours. undecided

2. Entrusting His Spirit into the hands of His Father, in whose hands, all those who are of the world are equally in, does not mean Jesus Christ went to Heaven in those 3 days which He told His followers He would be in the grave. What He said in John 20 vs 17 aligns with what He had told His followers on at least previous occasions

No body goes straight to Heaven or Hell immediately after death. In fact, according to Jesus Christ, the one who is King in the Kingdom of God, everyone of His followers will sleep in their graves until after His return. undecided
