[quote author=KingSatan post=70732646]Nigeria! A very confused Nation. Colonized by the Brits. But many schools in Abuja uses the American curriculum. We claim to be a sovereign state but yet we Practice a dual judicial system (Western and Sharia). If the Christians ask for their own courts now ( I mean the establishment of a judicial system based on the core values of Christianity) some will cry a river and threaten fire and brimstone. Can a Christian be the chief judge in a sharia court? the answer is NO! Can a Muslim be a chief judge in the Supreme court of Nigeria? The answer is yes! What hypocrisy! If there could be such division and bias in their judicial system, how then do you think Nigeria has a future? Most people are against State policing but they forget that there is an active Policing system in the north called the "Sharia Police". All they do is enforce sharia laws and protect their sharia constitution which includes "No beers in the North". But they forget that the bailout funds they enjoy are proceeds of VAT remitted by the manufacturers on each bottle of beer. It's a pity. Nigeria is a ticking time bomb. Oga, if you don't like what is going on enter bush. Before your forefathers started selling their sons to their eventual colonial masters for a piece of mirror Sharia law and courts have been in existence. And the courts are guided by clear Islaamic laws which leaves room for no doubt. And mind you, there is a provision in the Nigeria constitution that provides for the sharia law for those willing to practice such laws same as the customary courts that deals with norms and custom of certain people. My oga, your complains are misplaced to even start with. Go to the courts to challenge these rulings if you are uncomfortable with them so you don't go misleading the millions it hundreds of gullible Nairalanders with your spurious claims which has no legal backing. As exposed as you are do. you know not all states in the USA allows gay marriages and certain laws that are often promoted as the complete position of every American citizen and states. Knowledge is profitable for a man that he humbly ask than he goes about spreading hogwash which educated but illiterates minds see as the gospel truth. |

Oma307:The judge is right. If a man sees his wife with pregnancy he can't explain and says nothing till she puts to bed, it is his own noni. Silence means consent. To show how unserious the man is, he waited till the baby was four months old. Honestly, what husband suspects that his wife's pregnancy is not his and keeps quiet why he keeps sleeping with her and enjoying all other marital privileges? |
