Most people are against State policing but they forget that there is an active Policing system in the north called the "Sharia Police".



All they do is enforce sharia laws and protect their sharia constitution which includes "No beers in the North". But they forget that the bailout funds they enjoy are proceeds of VAT remitted by the manufacturers on each bottle of beer.

Before your forefathers started selling their sons to their eventual colonial masters for a piece of mirror Sharia law and courts have been in existence.
And the courts are guided by clear Islaamic laws which leaves room for no doubt.

And mind you, there is a provision in the Nigeria constitution that provides for the sharia law for those willing to practice such laws same as the customary courts that deals with norms and custom of certain people.
