Hello everyone my EDD is December 12.this would be my first baby and it is a girl.I and my husband are beyond happy, we are just trying to curtail ourselves so we don't come across as mad people. My mother is overjoyed,this would be her first grand child so it is really excitement everywhere.

My only worry is that I want to go for elective Cs. I don't really have the strength or patience for the push also I don't want to hear anything happened to my baby during the process.

Pls I would like to find out the time it took to recover(the real deal) also for those who went for elective CS did you feel guilty after everything and all

I had ELCS,I was really scared of vagina delivery,I used the opportunity too to repair an umbilical hernia(I used to have a very big navel). In fact we didn't tell our Parents,my mum had an idea but didn't when I was going in exactly because I didn't want anyone to discourage me.

I was awake throughout the surgery but just couldn't move my legs and didn't feel any pain. As soon as I was cut open,the doctor was trying to bring my son out and suddenly started telling his fellow surgeon that there was cord very tightly round the baby's neck two times. I got really scared,they hurriedly carried the baby to go resuscitate him,I didn't hear my baby cry at all. I started calling all the doctors name o,telling them to make sure nothing happens to my baby. I guess this explains why I was always on and off the hospital from my 31weeks,I was having crazy contractions. Maybe the cord was trying to strangulate the baby,I don't know o. Sometimes I imagine what if I had waited to have vagina delivery and he didn't make it or came out too weak.

Well,my bobo is 1yr 4months,the CS site is completely healed. I am back for 2nd missionary journey. The choice is yours Sis.

I didn't/don't feel guilty about having requested for the CS on my own. I did what was best for me and my baby.

mamas, plead chock mouth for my matter, i discharged brownish stuff for one week , not much though, it latter stopped but was placed on progesterone and some other drugs. I went for scan at 4 weeks gestation sac was 12mm , then two days after it was 17mm. but no heartbeat or foetal pole. went five weeks and some days nothing still. doc said it was too early. my bump is showing earlier than expected. doc said i should wait till week 10 to do another scan. i will be eight weeks on wednesday. can it be blighted ovum or it was just too early. pregnancy symptoms are high. praying for a miracle. was in the hospital on friday doc said is too early. I know stress may contribute to it. Thanks. zaynie and other mamas

Just keep calm and wait till like 8-10 weeks, by then the there should be a heartbeat.
Be rest assured that the gestational sac is growing which is a positive sign. Be faithful with your progesterone and have faith. kiss

The 2 surgeons were actually urging each other on to apply more pressure on the abdomen as they were bringing baby out

@tatacherie congratulations mama you remind me of the day I also had my surgery I can so relate to the experience. The difference is the healing process and the bathing thing. I had my bath on day 3 cheesy

started doing house chores week 2 etc being active makes you heal faster though I didn't lift anything heavier than my baby...maybe because im not the lazy type sha . Its 2 months and 2weeks now since I had my surgery and I started doing my exercise after a month and 2weeks I'm very OK now recovered fully. I had fibroid surgery with the Cs that is 2 in 1 undecided

also had heamatoma they had to puncture the site twice again a week after the surgery in other to drain out the blood...I saw hell...pain was outta this world. The doctor that did the surgery examined the site two weeks ago and he was so surprised at how clean the site was despite all the puncture. Also remember that body differs though...

In all I thank God for the safe delivery of your baby it is always better to listen to our instincts. Congratulations dearie

Good morning experienced mamas, congratulations to those who just gave birth. Your little one will bring joy, peace, love , wealth and all the good things of life.

Please I heard there is an injection they give pregnant mamas who have had series of miscarriages to seal the womb. It's not progesterone injection or cervical cerclage. It's normally given as soon as you get your bfp. I read in somewhere on nairaland and I can't remember where I read it.

I am not sure if my doctor knows of it, if not he should have given me when I was pregnant. You know how some gynaecologist get stubborn when you try to suggest things to them.

If anyone knows the name, please let me know. Thank you
