Mine na the opposite, only the front camera works on potrait mode. Which particular mode you dey use? Though I can't even use Gcam for now, unto MiUi 10

later upgrade my R5P to oreo
the experience has been woow in contrary to what i read
about the upgrade.

pros:
face unlock is very fast even work efficiently in the nyt with minimal light it doesnt use front flash though 8/10.

full screen mode is really great dis time. working perfectly.

have never experience any lag at all so far.

battery is perfect, even i cn say a lil bit improved i get 45 to 50min of on screen time from. 100 to 95.

front camera portrait mode is cool.

no heating whatsoever


cons.

no portrait mode for the rear camera.

screeshot image takes more(mb) space unlike before.

guys, i need some help to understand the situation my phone is, i was using my redmi 4x normally and then there was a flicker on the screen after which the screen went black. calls come in, i pick using the normal slide up pattern even though i am not seeing anything, i feel every other thing works too. goto camera setting and reduce video Resolution
