You guys were right!!! You were so right!!!

IT'S PPR!!!!!

I can't believe it. I have been screaming round my house since I saw the mail. After all the BP spikes and chest pain, here we are. Thanks to everyone who calmed me down yesterday. Please find my timeline below.

ITA - March 26
AOR - June 13
MEP/IP1 - June 27
IP2/ADR for spouse's Schedule A - August 3
1st Ghost update - August 15
2nd Ghost update - September 4
PPR - September 5

My journey started in 2016 when I decided to apply for EE using an agent. Wrote IELTS in September 2016, got my ECA and dived in. I had to reject the first ITA because I found out that my agent had made some 'modifications' to my work history, and wanted me to get my former employers to tweak things to that effect. The second ITA timed out due to POF issues. After that, I lost interest and decided to continue with my academics instead. By December 2017, my brother became a PR and I realized that I could get back the points I had lost due to having a birthday. Add to that the prospect of a wasted IELTS, I decided to give EE another go. And the rest, as they say, is history. I got ITA two weeks before my birthday at a CRS score of 451. Cut-off for that draw was 446, exactly 5 points below my score.

POF was my (accompanying) spouse's employee savings, the letter was not in any particular format but stated the current balance and how long he had been saving. I included his work history in the application since I knew our POF was somewhat tied to his job, so we had to get letters from his supervisors as well.

It's been a long and challenging journey - for all of us - but I know that our rest is near. To my fellow June AORs, thanks for the encouragement, you all are next in line.

Cheers. ~dances out with serious Niger Delta waist shaking~

Yes for parents/brothers and sisters

No
3. Are we supposed to list our NYSC in our 10 years work history

This should be under personal history where you fill in everything since you were 18

4. For NYSc: SHould it be classified under "Government/ Military" activity type

I classified mine under unemployment that way it wont ask for reference or employer details ( a friend too did that and got ppr)

5. For periods of unemployment: what should one include as "name of employer, school, facility etc.) [font=Lucida Sans Unicode][b]

Unemployment means you didnt have a job so it should be blank during that period

Thanks all.

God bless.

Congrats brother! Please can we discuss privately on the French classes? My email is Femi.resource@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from you

Afro24:
I had known about this immigration program since 2014 because I kept getting unsolicited emails from one of the canada immigration consultants, but I just did not think it was worth the trouble especially when I saw I had to pay a fee to be assessed.

The decision to immigrate was finally made in October 2017, so I proceeded with WES evaluation in November and picked an exam date for IELTS. The result of IELTS was decent as I exceeded the 8777 requirement. Unfortunately, I could only achieve 413 as being grey, not having a masters degree and my ICAN certificate being almost worthless had depleted my score.

At this point, PNP was the way to go but sadly, Ontario decided to be the new CIC so I had to rule them out. I took up French classes all in a bid to improve CRS as the miracle of May 2017 was clearly not going to happen but oboi....that french thing is fun but no be beans oh.

Nova Scotia announced the opening of Category B stream for candidates without job offers on April 28th. Since my NOC was in demand, I grouped all my documents in folders and proactively waited for them.

I successfully applied after 5 exasperating hours of sitting on the floor and refreshing my browsers (Nova Scotia PNP is notorious for their website shutting down following the millions of candidates trying to win a spot and to make matters worse.....it's entirely free)

Thankfully, I was nominated 3 weeks after and as good mathematics students, you know what my CRS came to. Then the journey began.

ITA was received on May 30th ( This draw was unexpected).
AOR.......July 4th.
Medical was passed on 20th July( this date means alot).
IP2.........I really don't know the exact date because I stopped checking. It should be around August 14th.

Ready for Visa Email/PPR........August 28th.

This is to encourage all those looking at improving their scores. Just keep at it and I think desperation in chasing the scores is everything. We will all succeed because I want to be able to eat "oporoko" in that country when I choose.

To those contributing positively on this thread......you are everything.

Alright folks....je veux aller soumettre mon passeport.

ICES does not need to evaluate WASSCE if your evaluation is post secondary school and it was obtained from Nigeria. Each country has its requirements on their website,so if you click on Nigeria, you will see the requirements and in your case,it's just your M.sc.

*I need help using ICES, will they accept NOTIFICATION OF RESULT IF THE CERTIFICATE HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED?
2.'Can payment be made with ordinary ATM ( debit) cards, because they said only credit card is accepted?
Thanks

Sir the problem is that these questions have been answered several times just a little search will help.

Elders in the house, pls I and my husband urgently need your assistance to complete our post ITA profile.

We go ITA during the last two draws. I am the PA. While completing our post ITA profile, we have to complete my husband work history section and provide references.

The problem now is that my husband was wrongfully dismissed from the bank in 2016 after 9 years of meritorious service. We took the dismissal then in good faith and left to continue our lives with my husband commencing his own business since then. We never knew that we would have anything to do with the bank again unless would hv contested the dismissal then. Now post ITA, what we have is my husband's employment letter, promotion letters and dismissal letter to show he worked in the bank for 9 years.

A friend informed us that if we upload those documents, it will amount to instant rejection and ban for 5 years for inadmissible due to unethical behavior in the bank as stated in the dismissal letter. We have now written to the bank to contest the dismissal but the management has changed since 2016 and it's over 3 weeks now we have not heard from the bank.

Pls our ITA completion date is ticking, we urgently need advise on what to do now.

When you were filling your profile, under your spouse's educational history, when you were asked something like: "have you gotten an ECA for the qualification?", did you enter No or did you enter Yes and filled any number?
stevo2016:
Thank God, I have finally seen the long awaited ITA. The name of the Lord be praised. But I have a question, when I went to view my profile, I discovered that the transmitted has changed to red, but I am seeing 'in progress under wifey's education history. I had chosen Yes under that, but haven't filled in her university education history since we are still awaiting her ECA. We are expecting it by 21st of september. Please guys, hope that would not have any negative implication. Thanks.

Hello,

Please can I be guided on how to go about applying? Before I get into the pool I need to understand the way to apply if my spouse and children are not resident in the same country with me.

I am the principal applicant. Has anyone been in this situation before? I'm concerned because I am not sure how we will submit the Medicals, police report. I understand that it must be uploaded but hope it won't be queried if it Is seen that they were not gotten from the same location. The other concern is about the ppr. Will I have to return to my home country to submit together with my family or we can do it seperately. Please I need your advice before I begin so I can manage expectations. Been reading from part1 but I am yet to see a related case.

Thank you for thinking about this for me. grin cheesy

Hello,

Im not an expert. But from what the experts have advised which can also be found on page 1, since you’re the Primary Applicant, why not go back on your form amd click NO in work experience for your husband.

Then in the current form (Post ITA) Move your husbands work history to personal history and list all the jobs he has done there, including this bank.

But to be further convinced. Please visit page one of this thread. Keep scrolling till you see this issue. It has been answered there
