Good morning house, I have worked as a doctor with the Taraba state specialist hospital for the past two years. Recently I planned to sit for the plab part two exams and had applied for a standard visitor's visa which was rejected.

As locum medical officers were not issued contracts and are not paid via the banks but rather "cash in hand" a few days into the following month with no payslips. For example we were paid on 5/9/18 for the moth of August.

When I applied for a standard visitor's visa for my exams I included the following:
1.passport/data page
2.cover letter
3.letter from two persons willing to sponsor my trip. I made it clear that I would sponsor my trip and that the sponsors were for unforseen circumstances.
4.Sponsors bank statements(6 months)
5. Letter from sponsors stating readiness to sponsor.
6.letter of introduction from the hospital. This stated the duration of my employment,my roles, method of payment.
6.letter of administration which included properties under my name.
7.My personal bank statements for the past 6months.
8. Results of the plab part 1 exams.
9.Valid Ielts results
10. Receipt of payment for the Plab part 2 exams
11.Hotel booking showing the duration of my stay for five days.

Attached below is my rejection letter.

As I have no payslip and I tried to explain this in the letter, how can I resolve this? The suggestion I got was to use someone's payslip at the hospital, modify it and put my name there. Then go to the bank each time I'm paid and deposit the money using the name of the hospital.

I have cancelled the exam and intend on taking it next year so I can plan and change my circumstances.

I would really appreciate it if I could get help.

Am not a guru o but i think you should include his birth certificate and yours too to establish the relationship, a letter from either of your parents authorising you to take him along, let him include his statement of account apart from yours and include copies of your past visa. If it was me applying, I would renew first and apply for my brother thereafter because 10 years visa fee is not moin moin. All the best

This site is really great, I do not regret registering. Thank you very much Jenny for this information, I was not thinking of including our birth certificate but I will do so.

Kindly assist me with the remaining questions and how to do a planned itinerary.

1.Can I pay for my visa fee and Health surcharge using a Naira master card?
2. If yes, which of the banks offer the best service for this case?
3. What's the maximum amount I can pay using such card?
4. Will there be extra charges for using the card?

Thank you

Please I need your advice on how to go about my refusal.....

This is so painful after traveling to the UK for more than 5times and applying for more than 3times and also putting to bed in the UK and paying all the NHS outstanding bills......I still got refused! Based on unclassified facts.

Please guys I need your advice on how to handle this refusal and I would also like the gurus in the house to please interpret this refusal letter for me because I really do not understand it.

They gave 2 reasons for my refusal
1. That I did not complete my NHS payment....which I did already and also submitted all the receipts given to me by CCI UK.but it seems they did not confirm from CCI about the payments..... Meanwhile I have called CCI today and they said they will send a mail to the hospital to inform them I have completed my payments (something they should have done before now)

2. The most painful part is my school they claim I am not a student DAT my documents are counterfeits!.......And this is obviously not true! They sent a mail to my school to verify if I m a student and the school replied them yes! I am surprised they are still saying I used a false document.

Please if my school writes them again will that change anything? And also the Hospital in London. Please I need your advice please its very important and urgent please! What are my chances? Please what do I do?

After waiting up to a month for a reply I still got refused meanwhile my daughter was also refused because I was refused and he's travelling with This is so painful. Please what can we do is there still a solution?

Thanks as always
I will advise you get a good immigration lawyer.. They will sort things out

@Winneijay; your sponsor's bank statement is key, and yet missing from your list. Your monthly spend compared to your monthly earnings isn't really a good one too, take cue. Then leave the reason for your US visa refusal at "refused based on section 214B".

I don't see any reason why I should attach bank statement when my company has written that it will foot the entire costs.

The only time I use bank statement is when it's a private visit to the UK.

Cut down the spend some bit, seems these UK people prefer "araldite fisted/Ijebu" persons oh. Your husband resources in the African context should handle most of the reasons your spend is low if you get me. Don't do "bigmanity" for them oh, even if!

Mixed feelings guru

Adding your personal company's profile in your application... is it a sign for added ties or you giving out too much information?

Thinking aloud

Well, it's simple. They said you have an outstanding payment ot make to NHS. Contact the hospital where you gave birth and find out why the outstanding charge since you said you cleared all the payment before coming back.

The second reason is that the document you obtained was fraudulent because the the school didn't authenticate it when they contacted them. If you are sure the document in question is genuine, go back to the school and obtain a headed letter saying the document is genuine.

Thank you so much all for your advice. You guyz are wonderful.
I will work towards your advice thanks!

You can use it like that, it's only one day apart. However, if you want to be perfectionist, statement of account is not expensive, around 25 naira per page depending on the bank.
