Just forget the admision and apply to a proper University. It will be a herculean task to convince a VO with your age. Additionally, a 2 year diploma will do nothing exceptional for you in Nigeria. That story won't cut it.

Every dick and harry will pick a Nigerian 4year degree graduate over an American 2years community college degree. You need to actually plan properly. To be honest with you, you seem like an immigrant, if I can see that, a VO can too, more or less a trained one.

Good to know the program isn't well offered in Nigeria thus, your need to pursue it abroad however, what is the return on your investment with an AS? I have indicated interest to join his research team and he was pleased with it...again I was considering change in Environment. My doctor had warned me against staying in cold environment... And of all the three schools, university of Texas A&m in Texas has the warmest temperature unlike Washington and Alaska...( vo nodding her head)

ME:polymerase Chain reaction( I knew she did not understand anything)

GRE isn't compulsory however, it is good to write and ace it if you require funding as it helps in comparing students during admission and also, it is a way to start preparing mentally for graduate school. The idea of a cheap school shouldn't be too much of concern to you rather, I would say focus on schools that offer what you want and see how best you can benefit from their funding.

Use google and I am sure you can find reliable SAT tutors. I know there use to be one in the late 90s very close to Unilag. I know some other areas might have good coaching centres as well.

I differed my admission to next year march , the school agreed to change my starting date in the new i-20 they will send for my interview but that i should use the old admisdion letter sent to me. Pls going with this old admission letter will it cause any problem in the interview

u don't have to tell the VO that u didn't write any exam or that the school waved ur exam...please tell them u wrote those Exams...Its part of the criteria that tell them that u aren't a potential immigrant...so don't make that mistake...

It's not compulsory to write any of the standardized exams especially if the schools you're applying to do not require them. So, it's on you to go through their websites and email messages to know how to go forward from here.

The thing here is that in some visa interview cases, it shows how serious that candidate is; and their preparedness to want to study. It boosts your chances of standing out when admission decisions are being made for funding.

Honestly, I'll suggest you write the germane exams. You might just need them when it's dire. You can use same GRE score for 5 years, TOEFL for 2 years.

Does the old admission letter bear another semester?
I don't think that would be a problem since you deferred the admission.

You can check their international students section's FAQs or better still, ask the person you've been communicating with.

Wow. This is my first time on this thread hearing something good about an agent. Another thing is that he or you chose a good school and not like in other cases where not-so-good schools are chosen for students. From your response, you worked hard in your case.

If you finished since 2005 that is 13 years ago to just be going for first degree . It is possible but I would speculate a lot harder to convince a VO.

Some people are given even after 4 denial so it possible but you have to look at the whole package in totalilty. Finished 13 years ago so probably not very young. Then NO test scores and then 4 delays... at this point maybe it best not to put all your eggs in one basket . What about doing your first degree in Nigeria ?

Didn’t bring no medication neither. Now they won’t sell over the counter without a doctor’s prescription, doctor won’t talk to you except you have insurance or ready to part with 5k per session with a doctor here in Miami. Worse still, they might quarantine you if they hear you say malaria. Please don’t make the same mistake. But then again, who’s willing to help with some antimalaria medications? Da**!

5k dollars or #5k? If it is the former, let someone send it via DHL if no one is coming to your location soon. If it is the latter, go see your doctor.
