And for those complaining about the design, who doesn't know apple change their design every 2 yrs. iPhones have a 2 yr life span, so when u buy a new iPhone ur not supposed to buy another one until at least after 2 yrs, if u ask me that is a good thing. How can u buy a phone for $1,000 and then have to change it after a year? It's a premium product made to last for at least 2 yrs, hence why the design is same with minor upgrades. Even Samsung have gone the same route, galaxy s9 is almost same as s8, same with the note except the fingerprint sensor placement which was located in a weird location on the s8 anyway.

So which iPhone used same design for 4 yrs? The major difference between galaxy s8 and s9 is fingerprint placement and it was an error for Samsung to put the fingerprint beside the camera for the s8 so it was expected that they corrected it. Just like apple corrected the bendgate that affected iPhone 6 when they released the 6s. It doesn't make sense changing the design every year on an expensive phone. If u break the display on ur iPhone Xs, u replace with same display of the x, same thing with other parts of the phone. Parts are interchangeable, if the design was different then parts won't be interchangeable, so newer parts will become extremely expensive.

iPhone 6 and 6s, same design, internal upgrades (normal with Apple). iPhone 7 is completely different from iPhone 6/6s. Haba, they even changed the mechanical home button, added water resistance and removed antenna band on the back. Even an 8 yr old can tell which is iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 from afar so how is that same design? iPhone 8 is iPhone 7 design just that the 8 has a glass back, again normal 2 yrs design change. All 4 phones have the iPhone footprint, just like any Samsung flagship phone would have the Samsung footprint.

And the media are not taking it lightly with apple for not making design change, even a lot of top tech YouTubers and bloggers have vowed not to buy the new iPhones. But it is something we have become user to, only a paranoid person would think apple are going to make a drastic design change with the new set of iPhones. I mean iPhone x is still one of the most beautiful phones out there.

For instance, a normal lg sound system may sell for 35k meanwhile a wireless sound bar goes for almost 200k now what are you telling me, that you still think it's cool having wires all over your living room?? Me self I want apple to remove even that earpiece at the front and make the screen 100full... Just say u no get money, for me this design na killer, I swear apple go still rule for a very long time

And this is one major reason (atleast one of two) that i am stuck with LG mobile phones. They still have a 3.5mm out on their phones. The sound quality with the inbuilt DAC on their V-series is out of this world when paired with an equalt to or greater than 50 ohms impedance headphone. Some of us still love our wires.

People are still obsessed with battery size in 2018. Fast charge takes care of this. Most highend phones are optimized anyway, so it wont be suprising seeing a less than 3000mah out performing those with over 3500mah

Exactly. Newer Phone cost $1200. If you take a 1 year old iphone into a mobile operator shop, they can pay up to $600 to buy it back, then give you a newer model. Your monthly contract and payment remains same only that you would add a couple more months to your contract end date which never ends anyway as people are always upgrading every year.

I am an lg user and if i remember, everyphone i have bought starting from thd g5 has always shipped with a fast charger. It's a norm or standard not an added accessory.
Apple fast wireless chargers are also selling for 40 dollars on amazon. That is lunch money x 2.

In continuation to the fast charger cost debate, some retailers if not most for mobile network would even give you a $100 to $150 gift card to buy anything you want in their shop. My last purchase was the wifes s8. I was given a 150 dollar gift card to buy any thing in their shop. I just put it back towards insurance to get a new one should my kids break the glass body.

I believe apple is mad. Those ones are budget iphones.?

LG ships their phones with fast chargers but Apple doesn't. They want you to buy everything. You buy 1000 usd phone and the box is literally empty, you will have to buy dongles, airpods, fast chargers etc.

They will eventually remove screen and speakers then sell them separately
