mikeeze: sorry for sounding blunt, it's very obvious from your questions you didn't read through this thread. What do you do with your time bro, are you sure you desire to study in Germany at all. cos the way you are going presently is not ideal. For newbies, pls spend your time wisely, read and research out facts as it relates to your future. There are several programs being taught with English language, please search for schools offering your course of interest or related courses of interest too, spend ample time to go through the curriculum, know what they stand to offer, know what you stand to get, ask questions in relation to your choosen choice of study, try to find out what the future holds, pray and prepare your package to the different schools. One love brethren. Its well with us all. May the good and gracious God guide us as we soujourn to a new pathway. 5 Likes |

mikeeze:scholarship comes in different ways if you are opportuned to get one. 1. Watch out for PTDF scholarship in partnership with daad.de (there are specific courses qualified for this event. E.g Tropical Hydrogeology and environmental engineering damstadt (search the net) 2. Agip international postgraduate scholarship Then the school you are applying to nay also have scholarship opportunities with e.g. TUM you can get this once you are admitted and meet the requirements. There are lots of German scholarships but German language plays vital role....I will advice not to place all hope on scholarship (if it comes it comes) but work on getting your BA or SL ( if have sponsor In Germany ) |

Hello Beautiful People of Nairaland, Please I'm in dire need of crucial guidance. I learnt that one of the documents that one ought to submit for visa application at the German Embassy LAgos is First school leaving certificate but I only have a primary school testimonial. My question is, would a primary school testimonial be accepted at the German in place of first school leaving certificate? secondly, would they accept a university letter of English language proficiency in place of TOEFL or IELTS proof? Please help me with answers, I don't want to make any mistake. |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by TUNDEMI1: 4:17pm On Sep 16, 2018 |
Laurel10: Primary school testimonial can stand for first school leaving certificate. Note: Embassy will not require any language certificate except you are going for course taught in Germany, it's on the checklist. It's your school that demand either English proficiency or TOEFL or IELTS for admission 3 Likes 1 Share |

Good Evening house. Please I need clarification from the gurus here. The German university that I'm applying for admission states that they only accept CERTIFIED copies of my application documents. My questions are: 1. How and where can I get the documents certified? 2. Which of the documents am I to certify in particular abi na everything? |

edehgeorgeC:You can certify your documents at 1. The German Embassy by first all booking an appointment for that on their website. 2.high court certification at any Federal high court you know 3. Notary public certification done by a Lawyer All is accepted except you school specified you must use one in particular. Certify the photocopy of all the documents you are using to apply |

Please guys, are German universities summer application for master's open to international students as well? I would like to apply now but most of the courses are restricted admission. Is it advisable to go ahead and apply to any program interest that isn't having any admission restriction? |

haybellfire:Thank you so much for your timely response. But then, going by the "German Embassy's" certification, any idea how much it could cost me? |

sammolarge19: Sorry to ask, did they tell you to come with the travel insurance for interview? why are you putting yourself under unnecessary tension. Sorry I may sound harsh, but I think it's expedient cos a good number of the questions you ask here is quite annoying honestly, more especially from an old timer like you. You suppose dey help put others through with their worries. wonder if we will see you here again after getting desired help from others. please do good to read and get yourself informed. sammolarge19: That's why it's been advised severally here for people to read and learn, so as to avoid being ignorant since it's not an option like you stated. No short cuts to destiny bro, devote time to read and you will be glad you did. All the very best 1 Like |

Laurel10: It can stand.... In my state, for some years they stopped writing FSLC and people were only presenting Testmonial as evidence.... During my interview, I used my Testmonial, though I backed it up with an affidavit. My affidavit wasn't even asked and my Testmonial was used. As for the language certificate I don't think it's needed for the interview.... That's my own little submission... |

I've dreamt of a day like this where like others I will post what you're about to read below. The journey started in May last year but was truncated when I wasn't able to get an appointment with the consulate. In December I got appointment date but admission letter was delayed and that also was lost. April this year I applied to several schools and got early admission in June, and interview date for August 16th. I funded and the interview went alright... (by the way it's the lady on dread that interviewed). After 4weeks and 1 day. My AM arrived. 7:13am... While in still on my bed. Lol. All thanks goes to Jehovah for His undeserved kindness. Thank you to all who have helped me in one way or the other... Wishing you all the very best. City: Kaiserslautern Interview date: 16th August Funded before interview AM: 17th Sept . 24 Likes |
