I only have my degree statement of result. Hope this is OK? I am yet to collect my original cert from my school.

Of course yes, they serve same purpose.

Your institution can't issue you Degree certificate if your set haven't done convocation. So in that case Degree Statement of results will be used/accepted.

Have no further doubt/fear.
