We disagree! Our idea of cheap here is those selling at less than 30Kobo...
Since we can hire Dangote trucks that just dropped cement at a depot to carry our kaya from Oscar Onyema.
We prefer those stocks we can use about 250K to get 7 digit units..

This new deal with Honeywell Aerospace Inc. is a double win for CAVERTON !!
...there are 2 clear POSITIVES here:

1) It will boost their earnings through income generated from servicing of helicopter and military avionics within the region. ...the company shall be the sole dealer in west Africa !!
2) It will provide another great means of saving cost as CAVERTON will be hedging against any unforeseen or unexpected rise in annual maintenance cost ...they've already done great on this line (of cost saving), and they're still doing more !!

Expect the 1st positive to aid their TOPLINE while the 2nd shall boost their BOTTOM LINE. ...which should naturally reflect in key indicators like EPS, EM, and ROAE.

However, if u still wish to disagree, then feel free Sir !!

The PE is around 3 so valuation wise it is pretty cheap and if it had sufficient float might make a very good takeover candidate (N31m gets your 5% of the company). Today's trade was like 1.6% of the company. I might study the financials thoroughly over the weekend and provide further info on the company and its prospects.

There's something u need to understand my dear.
With C&I LEASING, TRUE VALUTION has since overtaken CURRENT PERCEPTION. ...and the 'gap' (which is where money is made both as a VALUE and GROWTH investor) is now small.
This is in contrast to CAVERTON where that 'gap' is still very high. ...so there's undoubtedly a greater chance of a much higher ROI with CAVERTON given an invested capital over a time adjusted basis.
Put differently, CAVERTON currently presents a much better MoS from Intrinsic Value when compared to C&I l LEASING given their present PRICES !!
Not saying that C&I doesn't have room for more upside, but its BEST to FOCUS on the 'gap' ...this is KEY. ...'cause that's where ur ROI is weighed.
Make no mistake, I love and hold both stocks. ...But am only stating the OBVIOUS !!

It WONT BE LONG before CAVERTONs current perception shall take the back seat.
It shall soon be beaten and the coys TRUE VALUE revealed.

How do you know that people did not look at the result?

What is there to see? Attached is the latest financial statement.

If you look at the 5 year Group result, did you see any consistent GROWTH in Revenue?

The company has NEGATIVE retained earning of about N1.6bn. It will take about 8 years for the retained earnings to turn positive before you can think of earning any dividend based on current run rate.

What are the ratios? Profit margin? From revenue of N10bn you make a profit of N200m! Excellent

Profit for the company dropped from N177m to N42m between 2016 and 2017! Na improvement be that? Ok ooooo.

What do you use to gauge the future? A company whose profit dropped from N177m to N42m??

What is the future of Aluminium industry in Nigeria? What are the key risks? How is First Aluminium managing those risks? What competitive advantage does First Aluminium has? Who are the competitors? Do they have a monopoly? Can they control the price? Many questions that the so called numbers don't speak to!
