You don't need visa to travel to Mozambique. All you need is your passport, hotel reservation, About 1000USD BTA and yellow card. Book for flight to Mozambique using Ethiopian airline or any any airline of your choice that flies the route. You shall pay 50 USD at Maputo airport for visa on arrival.

I am here and I've had encounter with different nationals who are doing business here, ppl from SA, UK, USA, Brazil, Portugal and China, they all told me they had people doing business in Nigeria but they've all packed up about five years ago, so I know what am saying.

They prefer doing business here than in Nigeria, now this is not a matter of population, if you want I can go and interview all this guys all over again with their voices recorded.

You're in Nigeria, come down here and evaluate things before talking, don't judge with what you read on the paper.

Nigeria is bad, fine but relocating to Mozambique is not the right step. I have been to about 12 african countries including Moz, and I met with lotta Nigerians running biz. Most of these successful guyz you see around involve in one or too fraud, you just have to believe me when i say that.

The question op is not answering and some frustrated Nigerians didn't ask the op. Is this Op relocating permanently to Moz or on holidays?

Op should take her time to look around if she would see much of female Nigerians, we only have much male 9ja in Moz coz of fraud and most 9ja ladies u see around are their people

Instead of travelling to Moz or any African countries, kukuma get yourself a small Europe country.

Yes Nigeria has a large population which connotes a larger market for Foreign investors.. But these investors re already business tycoons who come to exploit and enlarge there businesses.. So an average Nigerian moving to Mozambique may not be seen as a "Foreign investor".

The Op have mentioned the kind of businesses that thrive in Mozambique.. Barbing, boutique, Restaurants etc.. These are the normal business an average Nigerian do.. No foreign investor will come to Nigeria to open a barbing salon because Nigeria has d population..

Lets understand what the OP is saying b4 talking about "FOREIGN INVESTORS".

So It may not be advisable for large scale foreign investors to invest in Mozambique.. But an average Nigerian can thrive in Mozambique and exploit the little opportunities there.. Simple.

Migration is good but in 21st century people migrate with vision, plan, adequate information about the potential host country, reasonable fund to sustain them for sometimes before getting a job or stattistup a business. However, it may not necessarily work like that on all cases but its important one prepare before setting out.

I've seen a lot of Nigerians that are millionares in different currencies without indulging in any questionable business. This idea of labeling every successful nigerian outside as a crook is wrong.

Mozambique is a good place to live but consider the cost of living before coming.

I don't think this is entirely true . There are many job opportunities in many African countries but the truth is certain things have to be in place .
,never travel to an African country to hustle if you don't have anyone on ground there to put you through. To easily survive in an african country one has to have survival technical skills which one can make use of immediately one lands and unfortunately computer literacy isn't one of those skills ,skills such as capentry,bricklaying,electrical repairs,tailoring,hair dressing are skills that will quickly attract employment opportunities at least for a newcomer to survive with before he or she finally finds his feet. Lastly make sure you travel with more than enough funds at least to feed for 3 months ,this is very very important. Ppl should look at it this way,how will it look if a gambian just comes into Nigeria without any money ,without knowing anyone ,without hearing the local language, and he is saying he wants to hustle? The same scenario too applies to Nigerians who travel without proper orientation,go with proper skills,and have more than enough funds to survive with for 3months . Lastly ,commit your journey into the Hands of God ,He alone can make all things work out
