nnamdijonathan:beautiful. If two options are placed here. Opobo sea port which u knw that it is near the sea. I will rather go for onitsha sea port or Azumini sea port. Even if it is Mile away from the sea. I don't care. |

hammer6F:they work with the ijaws. Lol but there was a post I read on fb. They were complaining that when amnesty money came that they were sidelined by the iyc chairman. He was told that they don't confirm them full ijaw. That they are more igbos than ijaw but he can accept him as ijaw when it comes to politics. I ave forgotten the name of the guy.... |

| Re: . by Nobody: 9:39pm On Sep 22, 2018 |
mightguy:Azumini seaport is closer to the ocean than the onne seaport while the Onitsha river port will be used as a backup to support import and export activities. The Azumini river channel can be our own Swizz canal and there will be no need to use the seaports in any state in the SS. We currently have 3 international airports in Asaba, Enugu and Owerri of which 2 are cargo airports while we have Umueri airport under construction, as we speak, Onitsha and Aba are more commercial than Port Harcourt, if not for the taxes paid by oil companies, port Harcourt's IGR wouldn't have been higher than those of Onitsha and Aba. Owerri's tourism potential is bigger than that of all the cities in the SS, so why exactly do some people want to kill themselves because of the denial of the so-called rivers Igbo people? |
| Re: . by pazienza(m): 9:46pm On Sep 22, 2018 |
xfactor23:Nwanne, leave matter for Mattias. The Ikwerres didn't past through worst than what Ndokis in Rivers passed through. Go and read up about Akrika Obu and the controversies surrounding it. The Akwa Ibom people capitalized on Igbo subdued state and innate hate of Igbo by the FG to nearly take that town away from Ndokis. At a time it would have been expedient to disclaim Igbo to hold unto their land, Ndokis didn't, they continued fighting for their land, while not going down the "we no be Ibo" route. All of us suffered the after effect of the civil war. Ututu people of Abia State, lost their lands to Efiks in Odukpani LGA, through the FG who were quick to divide and conquer the east by siding with the Efiks. Don't let anyone one fool you with the rubbish narratives of being surrounded by non Igbos and at risk of losing their lands to them, as a valid excuse for their Igbo denial. SE is surrounded by minorities all round, and many of our boundary groups lost lands to neighboring minorities because we are Igbos. No Igbo identity denier have any justification whatsoever. They will not be tolerated by Ndiigbo. Never! |
| Re: . by pazienza(m): 9:50pm On Sep 22, 2018 |
mightguy:Our mumu don too much. Everybody is now capitalizing on the Igboman desperation to form union with them, to insult our intelligence, by claiming Igbo when expedient and non Igbo when no longer expedient. We had reduced the Igbo tag to a thing of caricature. No more respect or dignity. All because some of us had mentally accepted that they need some people to be complete. Who bewitched us? |

nnamdijonathan:beautiful. I don't knw ooo. Go there all the shops and land there ave been bought by igbos. The markets there are filled with igbo from the east. All the markets wike is busy building all over portharcourt are now owned by igbos. While they keep shouting how the igbos are dominating them. Lol. This people self |

pazienza:u trully hardened my heart....now when next i see a person from delta or rivers with igbo name...i will be the 1st one to tell him that he is not igbo...let him start explaining himself. We are in one nigeria for now...the issue of sea port never arise as importers are still using lagos and ph ports. But the ss igbos are taking political positions meant for igbos and we shouldnt allow it anymore. Plus se igbos living in rivers should learn to stop voting ikwerre...they have enjoyed our votes for too long without giving back anything...time to start voting ogoni |
| Re: . by Nobody: 10:04pm On Sep 22, 2018 |
mightguy:The fear of Igbo domination is the beginning of wisdom lol. The success of the average Igbo man has brought so much hate for him but, should he come and kill himself because of people's hate? We must continue to dominate most or all sectors in every state we reside whether the hosts like it or not. |

aniomafirstson:I'm a fan of Anioma. If it appears we are harsh on Anioma now, it's because we are heartbroken at how things are turning out there. It's a nightmare to many of us. I have cousins from Issele uku. Look at Asaba and see massive SE investments there, many of us have come to take Asaba as home. I visit Asaba Wikipedia page, and I see it written boldly that Asaba is an Igbo city. Asagba of Asaba plays prominent role in Igbo affairs. There are still few Igbo denials in Asaba, but you know for certain that Asaba political and traditional leadership are Fully Igbo. Why can't we get this same commitment from the rest of Anioma people. What's holding you people back from wholly embracing your Igbo identity. Put yourself in SE shoes, what would you do, if you were in our shoes, I want your honest opinion. |

nnamdijonathan:lol don't mind them. They will rant on social media but when igbos make a move to leave there. The government will start to pacify the igbos to stay remember what happened in akwaibom when there was toomuch robbery and looting of shops which are owned by the igbos and the igbos started moving to cross river. Lol. They started doubling security in akwaibom. Even to the xtent of publishing it on news paper. |

An award was also presented to H.R.M (EZE) AMB ENGR. ONYECHE PROMISE OBINNA (EZEIKEMBA 1 OF ULAKWO-UMUSELEM ANCIENT KINGDOM) as the IKENGA NDI-IGBO. See, this. An Igbo event hosted In Asaba SS, And and an Etche king came all the way from Rivers state to grace the occasion. But I saw no Ika or Ukwuani king. Even though the event was in Anioma land. |
