I think you should first use the CRS calculator to know who will be PA between you and your hubby. Then you can tackle the self-employment issues. Only the PA will need to validate his work experience as long as it is not Canadian.

Since graduation I have always worked for family. I dont have a pay slip since its a family business since 2004. I started out on, my own 2009 till present. The company is registered by my Mum she's late now. I do pay tax but unfortunately in my own name cos the company name is used by me and my siblings. We offer different services.
My husband also is self employed, we have a school he manages.
He has an MSC while I have a Bsc.
please can you give suggestions on how to go about this. Am kinda confused.

I had a similar if not same issue.

What i did was to simply mail and call WES in that order so that while speaking we have something to reference.

I found out that WES only sent hard-copy of the verification documents, immediately i requested that they send soft copies

as hard-copy cannot be guaranteed to get to my school as i was running out of time.

Next day, i got a mail informing me that soft copy has been sent to my school as requested. Sharply my contact checked school and voila, the rest is history.

So mine was not a ghost update after all, The background changed to “We are processing your BG, we will send you a message if we need more info” though not sure if the previous status was “Your Application is in progress, we will send you a message when we start your BG” So is it safe to say I am in IP2?

Yes the update was for your Medicals passed and Biometrics letter. I assume you got two email updates..

I doubt if there'll be a harvest this year.
There can be a harvest this year, but the chances are slim.

Also one is a personal opinion of negativity (Subjective) and the other is based on facts (objective)

That's why I can say : I doubt if PDP will win the Osun reruns and stroll away.
But if I say chances are slim that PDP will win the Osun reruns, I would need to run away.

If someone asks my reasons for statement one I could be like, it's just my instinct. But for statement two, I would need to analyse and justify my view.

Still on OOU and WES verification buhaha
I got the first alert that an email was sent on 16th July.
OOU claims no response because they had email server issues.
WES sent another one 20th August, School insists they havent seen it.

Reached to WES to kindly confirm tgey have tge right email and also resend another.
I have about 5 people checking and speaking to the Mrs Kaka. They all insists school says tgeybare tet to receive the email.

Am at wits end and totally frustrated.
Any one experiencing same or what advice can you guys offer.

Are you entirely sure about this? Remember, he is asking if he needs to include her in his EE application. That means points will be awarded for this. And this needs to be backed by documents. Just being careful here.

If i were you i'd say yes. Then upload LOE on how we are not in touch and I don't have her approval to add her to my application, in the placeholder for relatives in Canada. But be sure whether you're still eligible without her five points before doing this.

Reason why i'd say yes is that it always feels like lying when you answer no to that question: do you have any relatives in Canada? if you actually have relatives. Na just fear of misrepresentation sha.

Thanks for responding to all my enquiries. Assuming I claimed to be married as I am not legally separated as there is no legal document to back it up for now and the divorce process is a little bit slow in Nigeria. If I claim spouse non-accompanying, what are the documents I need to produce apart from PCC in all the countries he has lived in and medicals keeping in mind as he won't be writing IELTS for obvious reasons? How much POF will I need if I 'll be taking a child with me or they will still expect me to show POF for a family of three? The third question is that after getting PR, can I submit my divorce papers?

Hi

For the married not accompanying option you would still need to do his medicals and his pcc. You would also need to have pof for 3 (you, him and child) this is currently 19,053CAD. There is also a part you need to answer why he is not going with you. After ITA you also need scanned copy of his internatinal passport. I hope this helps.

Not sure of the last answer but i doubt it'll b an issue.
