Already preparing to clear plab 1 and 2 in the UK .....masters not a waste at all, it's a huge plus. More flexible chances of plab in UK compared to being in naija

fatima04:

If you are a medical doctor and you have financial backup like you say, then go for PLAB route instead of the whole masters and working as a phlebotomist plan

Education can never be a waste but paying so much for it now when you can get it cheaper through another route.

Just of the opinion dt d end doesnt always justifies d means. If you have the money for masters then apply for visa and clear your PLAB 1 and 2 in 6months and besides studying for the exam with masters won't be that easy.

All the best.

The issue of masters, is all due to issues as regards the license exam for foreign trained doctors in naija. It's been frustrating, I really need to move on and do something else. If things keep getting worse and doctors are leaving due to frustration then it's best to leave ASAP. It's quite complex cos of no license issue but I am open to non clinical options with the masters. If things do go well.....having a masters is a plus for plab2

My first time applying for UK visa. I mistakenly chose lounge service. I have payed for the visa, just over 40k, but the lounge service has not been payed. No way to untick it from my device. Will I be forced to pay it on that day, or I can simply tell them I don't require it any more. Thanks.

Please, guys what's the cheapest and best way for wifey to transfer funds to me in naija?

Is creating UK PayPal a bright idea?

Thanks in advance

Use worldremit.com or azimo.com

I use this to send money to Nigeria all the time. Check the rates though to be sure she is fine with it.

As stated above, she should just download either or both apps (worldremit and/or Azimo)......

Who wants to use the PayPal account? Having a PayPal account, is almost a must ....... If you enjoy buying and selling on ebay/gumtree, fragrance direct etc etc etc

I also recommend worldremit, the rates are not bad and it is convenient and fast. Also just to add, if your wife uses worldremit, she can get 15 pounds cashback via topcashback https://www.topcashback.co.uk/world-remit-ltd
AND she can get additional 20 pounds if she is referred by an existing user.

Contact UKBA to change the dates on your visa ASAP. You should have indicated your departure and return date on you visa so refer to it and ask them to change it.
Boss,

So UKVI got back and admitted their error but they said i should send my passport to their P.O.Box in Sheffield but as a Naija guy, i will go there myself.

Please do you or anyone know the specific address in Sheffield? All i have is a P.O.Box..

You will be surprised you wasted your time if you take it there yourself. If they tell you to send it, please send it recorded delivery. Be sure you have scanned copies of visas and BRP.
