Hello friends..

Please I am new here and I want to use this opportunity to say a big congrats to everyone that have gotten their visa and I pray that all those waiting will get their visa in dew time in Jesus name..

Pls I need clarification on some things.. kindly help

1. Is it necessary to have my blocked account funded with the required amount of 8640 euro before I can book visa appointment

2.. can someone help with some of these acronyms that you guys are using on the thread such as

BA
AM etc.

3. Pls can someone help explain the process behind the scene after visa interview. Like how long it takes to get a response.

Thanks and God bless you all..

To add to what have been answered, you can get a sponsorship letter or block account opening confirmation before going for the interview. But it's better off if you fund your account before interview, that way you know you have little to worry.

Hello house.I have been following this thread for weeks and i am seeking some clarification on some info as regards admission process for a degree program in germany. I dropped out of a federal university in my third year, about 4 years ago.I was in medical sciences.I delved into business for some reasons. Now,I have enough cash to go back to school for a business degree.I have contacted the federal university and i was told that i can still have my transcript. My question is will it be acceptable by a german university? and what are my chances of gaining admission with that? I have other salient questions but i will be glad if someone can provide answers to these first. Thanks everyone

guess you mean bachelors degree program, if so you have brighter chances. what you even need for submission is your first year transcripts and your waec or neco with some other documents as required by the school. But endeavor to get everything anyway since its your property, you might still have need for it.

For your other salient questions, please endeavor to read through this thread thoroughly, cos if you ask questions which have already been answered here repeatedly, you stand to get people angered including me as well, and you might not like the expressions you will get. just my one cent for you anyway.

Hello house,

My enrollment deadline is 11 October. But I can't make it to germany till 13th October. However, I have been asked to do the enrollment online. One of the requirement for online enrollment is 'Health insurance certificate for a student health insurance or the exemption from compulsory insurance (for private health insurance)'. The travel insurance I gave the embassy is Axa maxard and I doubt that can be used for enrollment.

My Questions
Now, I have Fintiba Basic account which I have funded. And I am aware Fintiba offers health insurance. By upgrading to Fintiba plus(which has health insurance), would I be given the health insurance certificate needed for enrollment?

This upgrade of Fintiba to Plus and issuing of health insurance will take how many days?

Or how do I go about this?

Thanks!!!!

Guess your problem is quite light anyway. If you are above thirty years of age, then it's obvious you can't do public health insurance, you go for private health insurance, though I stand to be corrected anyway.

As regards the fintiba insurance, they are quite new into the game and have not really been tested, so we can't testify of their goodness, maybe you help us with that, that's if you settle for it.

All the same, research different available health insurance package and check out their prices and what they offer as well. You can get the required documents for enrollment from them online as well. So all you need do is to send it immediately after getting it to enable you enrol.

Hello fam,
I applied recently for the DB blocked account . But I got an email stating I should resend the form but I don't need to go back to the embassy. I'm wondering should I write the same date that I used when I went to the embassy before? Or a new date

E be like say them don repent after losing so much customers to fintiba, lol. As regards the date, maybe you kindly confirm from them, na them sabi as them want their thing to be. All the same if them worry you too much which I think they might still do, quickly port go fintiba and get everything done online and swift without stepping out of your domain.

NB: Am not a fintiba staff ooooo, before you think am doing marketing. lol. just making a suggestion though.

Good to see some newbies creeping in gradually. I will like to leave this words of advice

* kindly read through pages of this thread, start from the very first page, the information contained in the very first page will help you to get started if you are yet undecided. if you possibly can, go through other versions as well eg part two, three and four. Believe me, you won't regret doing so. The information you will get here is a goldmine awaiting for your perusal. You will virtually become much more knowledgeable and be able to help some who are confused.

** Search thoroughly through daad and google for courses that suits your interest, make sure you check the course contents very well so that you know what they are offering and what you stand to get at the end of the day. Don't just enrol into any course you see because you want to travel out, take note guys are getting extra semesters as coping up with the level of their studies no be beans

*** please endeavor to learn the German language while you're preparing to go there for studies. it will help you to integrate very fast and moreover give you access to good juicy offers at will. it seems to be the meal ticket for the basic hustle there. There are several good videos you can download on YouTube while you study them offline, also try to download duolingo app on your mobile device.

**** For science based students, it will be more ideal if you learn programming language before you go for studies, you will definitely not regret doing this if you eventually do. This happens to be another good meal ticket for the basic hustle over there. Germany is a highly technological advanced country and this happens to speak more volumes if you do learn them. You get very good high paying jobs if you learn them and this will even pay you better as you will somehow get to see them in your course of study.

learn the following good programs if you possibly can : python, Java, matlab, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and some database mgt packages

If I wanna apply two or three courses in one school, would I submit three set of my certified documents?

Depends on the school. TUM requires 3 different sets of documents. Cos all the courses have different requirements and different admission committees.
But a school like Julius Maximilian University Wuezburg, takes one set for all the courses. Just fill the form and indicate ur choices.

God bless you sir ..
Eldeee:

Actually different schools have different application requirements, some might require you submit the ielts, some might make it easier for you by asking you to get a letter of English language proficiency, so first things first, identify schools that suits you and note their requirements.

As regards meeting up, if it is for summer applications, you will, but if it is for winter application, you probably will if the school starts application quite early. But some schools open applications for winter as from April.

Guess this issue won't poise a problem to you as a good number of schools will accept the English language proficiency letter.

All the very best.

Google TK health insurance and register (if you are below 30). You'll have to download the forms, fill & sign them and upload it. To hasten things up, you may have to call them. Good enough, they have a special English team for those who cant speak Deutsch. It should be done in 48hours if you tell them it's urgent and you need your evidence by mail. Goodluck!

Visit Coracle.de

You could get your insurance certificate from TK and others in less than 12hrs. Just upload your admission letter, blocking confirmation, and passport.

They will start debiting you when you arrive Germany.

Nb: You mustn't be above 30years.

You shouldn't panic, dear. 30th August - 27th September is exactly 4 weeks. And if I read the embassy correctly, it takes 4 - 6 weeks to process one's visa.

So, stay calm, pray to God and hope for the best.

since you are going for bachelor's degree, I will suggest you kindly look for courses whose language of instruction is English language. reasons are you might find it very very difficult to cope with courses whose language of instruction is deutsch and moreover you need to submit proof of German language proficiency at least B1 level before you could be admitted. so you see you probably might not fit in.

After getting your desired bsc courses in English, apply to the different programs and schools immediately their application portal opens.

it's advisable to learn German while in Nigeria cos it's more expensive to do same over there and moreover if you learn to a great extent here, you will easily integrate and learn faster the remaining ones when you get in there.

Hope this helps.

If what you imply is to go for a language school in Germany first and later apply for a bsc course over there after getting the language course certificate, then you will probably have to take it one step at a time. But take note, it's not the best of options in terms of cost and you coping with the language of instruction while receiving lectures.

Hope this helps.
