The rain falls in Imo state is acidic. It spoilt all the roads

The road leading to the bridge isn't done yet and the photographer smartly placed his camera in such a way that one would confuse it for bridge proper. Okorocha has said he will complete all before May 29th 2019 so let's wait and see if he'll keep to his word.

If many of these regulatory bodies were up and doing instead of trying to suck up to gov't, then we wouldn't be having as many poorly designed and constructed projects all over the place! Even the high incidence of building collapse would be drastically reduced!

There is currently no legislation empowering bodies like COREN from setting standards or enforcing standards. They can only act when invited and then only offer suggestions, no more. They are not a supervisory body for public works but a regulatory body for engineering professionals...individuals not institutions. Here as a nation that has a penchant for destroying institutions this suits us profoundly.
