So I placed an order for a new one which was delivered to me today, based on friendship I gave it to a friend who is a phone technician to help me fix though I don't trust their work here in Ughelli but being a battery replacement I thought it won't be difficult for him after sometime he brought it lifeless that the battery I just got is not good I was surprised but why? i asked he said it can't boot the phone so I decided to check myself then I noticed if u connect it to charger u will fill the vibration but won't boot the phone so I was confused I tried severally the same then I asked him to fix back the old one then he said the old won't work again because it was already exposed to air since I don't repair phone I could not understand but I begin to imagine and tried to comprehend his statement so I decided to fix the old one myself I noticed the same thing happening to the new battery is also affecting it whereby it vibrate but can't power the phone I noticed something was wrong that he may have tempered with my phone.. please any one with useful idea should tell me because I am beginning to think of meeting him tomorrow to confront him violently..

I have a problem with rooting Redmi 5 plus and flash twrp now, am confused. I am supposed to enable OEM after bootloader unlocked. Now it can't be enabled as seen on the screenshot. It can't be enabled despite showing that bootloader unlocked. What can I do? I don't want to continue because I don't know the implications.

Now iam beginning to suspect my ROM flashed by my seller. initially the rom is china which global rom was flashed. It came unlocked (bought from goldway).

Firstly it was my VOLTE that was locked (grey out), now OEM grey out too.
I just got to read about similar problems online, and i saw that you cant flash TWRP unless you enable OEM in developer options despite the bootloader unlocked. When i tried unlocking bootloader again using MIunlock tool i found out it showed unlocked but cannot verify my phone.

The tool is saying my phone has soft bricked before, which never happened with me. The only solution i got to understand is flashing the original rom from the maker because some are saying there are many fake rom out there on it. I dont want to risk flashing another ROM to avoid bricking but the funniest thing is that i have updated twice officially through OTA. But as it stand
I cant unlocked OEM
I cant unlock VOLTE
I cant install twrp
I cant root at all.
Any help please?
I am beginging to suspect this goldway seller ROMs, even many phones that has ROM issues here are from his store.
