I won't be surprised if all south south choose to go with Biafra even though they are more related to us. Go to south south, you will see different tribes related to the Yorubas, but now, no one wants to associate with us. It's our fault, even myself many times I'm ashamed of my tribe. We Yorubas portray ourselves as weak, unintelligent gullible people and people who can easily be enslaved. The Yoruba tribe that use to top in everything in the past is gradually becoming a backward tribe. Instead of us to think and change, many will still come online and be fighting Igbos. It's very pathetic.

Asari Dokubo has paid his dues. When some of his fellow Ijaws stood by and watched the Northerners take over 80% of their Oil wealth, Dokubo led others to the creek where they took up arms. The result was that they got 13% derivation and billions in amnesty programmes.

How many of you insulting Dokubo can do what he did?

Dokubo realises that it is in the interest of the Ijaw nation to join the Biafran agitation because they will only be exploited in Nigeria. He knows that Nigeria will never be restructured and unless the Ijaw nation exits Nigeria, they are finished.

Dokubo is a proud Biafran
so why didn't he invest in the delta since he made is money from there? rather he chose to invest outside the country undecided these are questions you should be asking, not by singing his praises

There was an interview where Asari Dokubo was asked this same question and Dokubo said that he does not consider his investments safe in Nigeria and that's why he took it to Benin Republic.

It's better you go and fight for Kanu for wherever he is right now. Don't pretend your associate with the 'Afonja' as we don't even need your sympathy. Yoruba is the tribe that still triumph in anything positive you might think in Nigeria . So, go get a life!

Of course, he is on his own. Greed, is what I think I see.
Oil money greed.
I don't know if he knows that the real oil is leaving the ground.
Probably has already left the ground.
For every barrel of palm oil produced (above the ground of course) the producer keeps 100% of the proceeds
except for taxes paid.

1 barrel of palm oil in the international market is about $90

We have in the Niger delta, fought for years to get derivation up to 13%

However, we have 100% derivation (so to speak) on any (and every) other thing we produce outside of oil.

The question is... what have we chosen to produce?

This goes for all the states in the South East and the Middle belt, and indeed, everywhere in Nigeria.

What have you chosen to produce?

It was Ojukwu who insisted that if the Niger Delta cannot get their demands at the constitutional conference from the North, they should at least get 13% derivation.
Igbos are too hardworking to depend on Niger Delta oil, they create wealth from nothing.
