Nonetheless, the majority of elections in the south west that was conducted in that period were won by the APC. They won even in Osun state where it appears as if the APC stewards have been underperforming than most part of the South Western region.

Hence, we can boldly say Apc is southwest and Southwest is Apc, since those with Apc are in the majority.
