hammer6F: Exactly the point I'm making. It's simply out of greed that Yorubas are still vying and scheming to produce both VP of PDP and APC VP in preparation for another assault at the presidency slot in 2023, when they know fully well that Ndiigbo are yet to have neither the VP nor presidency since 1999. Imagine if the tables were turned and it were Ndiigbo doing same thing they are currently doing, how the whole Nigeria would accuse Ndiigbo of greed, yet for Yorubas, it's counted unto them as Political "sophistication". SS has also produced a VP and presidency recently. If ever there is fairness, equity and justice in Nigeria, then nobody would even be discussing about why this VP slot should be exclusively zoned to SE, but Nigeria is a jungle, which is why I'm perplexed that someone like John Ogbu can write the thoughtless article where he opined that Atiku can forget picking a VP from SE and pick them from SW. I swear, some of our people just haven't got any clue, they are yet to understand the dynamics of Nigerian politics. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Abagworo: Bukola is not a Fulani name, dont ever get yourself confused. Bukola is a yoruba name. The larger half of Kwara are Yorubas. Just as the larger half of Rivers are Igbos. |

pazienza: It is not just greed my brother, it is psychotic obsession. Y use the term pyschotic obsession, well, Yoruba had to produce Finanace Minister becos Okonjo Ikweala who is Igbo and a woman was fianace minister, then Buhari replaced kemi with hausafulani woman. U can see that in Nigeria anything that goes to the East is observed with satellite telescope/ ill feelings. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: . by hammer6F: 7:24pm On Oct 08, 2018 |
pazienza: In Nigeria, the only people that want to die over VP in both PDP and APC are Yoruba. U wonder why Ndiigbo want Biafra. Let Yoruba and Hausa Fulani continue as Nigeria together. U will here Yoruba say if Igbo go, we are going, as if we came to Nigeria together. 5 Likes |

John Ogbu can write the thoughtless article where he opined that Atiku can forget picking a VP from SE and pick them from SW. I swear, some of our people just haven't got any clue, they are yet to understand the dynamics of Nigerian politics. Y dont we ever get Yoruba people write such nonsense or Hausafulani write such? Y must Igbo thing always be negatively different? 2 Likes 1 Share |

hammer6F: The Sarakis and Ilorin people don't consider themselves Yorubas. Even though they speak and bear Yoruba names. But the rest of Yoruba speaking Kwara are comfortable with the Yoruba tag. For example,, Oyedepo is a proud Yoruba man from Kwara State. 1 Like |

And those raving mad Ohanaeze youth are not making things any easier. Ranting all over social media like amateurs. Those threat we will not vote Atiku, put igbo in bad light. At that level, diplomacy and diplomatic mission would suffice not childish tantrum. |
Re: . by hammer6F: 7:37pm On Oct 08, 2018 |
pazienza: We cannot pick and choose all the time. It is simple, u answer yoruba name, eat their food, marry them and speak their language, you are Yoruba. Simple boundry adjustment and regionalism would correct that anomaly. i.e. Cut Yoruba kwara/ Kogi and add them into the SW region. 2 Likes |

Cut Ikwere out of Rivers and put their land locked land with minimal oil into the SE zone. Create a coastal state for the Kalabari and let us see wat Ikwere will call themselves next. 1 Like

Saraki comfortably gave his daughter to a Yoruba from SW in marriage.

hammer6F: You don't get it. It's not about what you and I or Yorubas think. It's about what Ilorin people themselves think. This is the same issue have with Ndiigbo that go on assuming Ikwerres and other Igbophobic Igboid groups out there are Igbos, simply because they speak Igbo, wear Igbo clothes and eat Igbo food. If someone say you are not his brother, then you are better off without the person. A true brother will not deny you. 2 Likes |

There are claims termed fraudulent. It is fraudulent to speak a language, follow its culture and cuisine but deny affiliation. It can simply not be accepted as irrational. 2 Likes |

pazienza: Wat Ikwere want and wat they will get are two different things. People do not always get wat they want. If Kalabari want their own state should they continue to be marginalised in Rivers becos of wat the Ikwere want? Wat the Ikwere claim and want can be rejected as Irrational. 1 Like |

Bede2u: If Ogoni agree to stay with them as opposed to join Kalabari State, then they will have to negotiate with Opobo and Bonny to get sea access. This can only happen under an agreed power sharing arrangement. As for Ikwere alone, they are hopelessly landlocked. 1 Like |

hammer6F: This is the hubris and irrationality that will destroy Ndiigbo . What made you think you have the right to decide for yourself, and others don't have the right to decide for themselves? Where exactly is this mentality coming from. What Ikwerre claims and want is what they will get. Stop this your funny mindset. 2 Likes |

pazienza: We are in a democratics dispensation. GEJ came very close to doing exactly wat I just said here, so it is not a threat. Look very close at the National confab map. They took much of the igboid groups into oil River State, leaving the Ikwere and Ogoni out. That is Ijaw moving to consolidate on their gain with igboid groups such as the Ekpeye and co. They came right up to the boundaries between Anioma, Anambra and Imo.

If u dont know wat that map means. Pls, let me explain. It means Ikwere are Igbo and SE just like Abia. As Oil River State takes up their place in the SS heading to Akwa Ibom. 1 Like |

hammer6F: Okay, I understand where you are driving at now. You are talking about the coastal Ijaw groups in Rivers state ie Kalabari, Okrika, Bonny, Opobo and Andoni, coming together to form their own state, together with Ogba and Ekpeye, and ?Ndoni, leaving Ikwerre , Ogoni, Etche, to retain a now landlocked Rivers state with no access to offshore oil derivation. Hmm. That would be interesting development. It would certainly burst lots of bubbles. 4 Likes |

Hammer6f please spear us that bullshit of yours, what you are saying can never happen, who in his right senses will think that forcefully carving Ikwerre into SE will ever work?, If it ever happens then know it now that there will be an endless conflict in the SE. You will even hear statements like 'These greedy Igbo people because of our oyel they are attaching with us AND we didn't want to do anything with you people but you people are greedy land grabbers etc' Biko stop this your dream it won't work although I know it is one of your many fantasies that will fail just like your failed support for Bianca Ojukwu 4 Likes 1 Share |

You guys have wasted over 30 pages discussing about dead Igbo leaders of the 60s and Ikwerre people instead of talking about the current crop of "mistakes" that are currently ruling us. Even the likes of Cjrane, horsepower etc that usually contribute to this thread have all been silent of recent because of the boring topics. 1 Like |
