My issue is I'm not married and my bf doesn't want the baby but I strongly do because I think I'm not that fertile. Now I've told him and he doesn't want me to keep it. I'm so depressed now. We started dating this year and he was planning we could get married late next year but he says he doesn't want to get married like this. Now I've even decided he doesn't have to marry me but I would keep the baby. Now I'm so so in a depressed and confused mood.

Please I want to know. My first blood group test years ago was AB-, I did again some months ago at same lab and it came out A-, I had to do another at one hospital and it came out as A+... During ante natal they now said it is A-. Meanwhile the height of my confusion is the fact that my mum is A+, dad B+, and my two siblings B+, where is my negative coming from? ...DH is O+... What if I'm actually + but still receive the rhogam injection, will it have any effect on me? I'm so confused. I intend doing a repeat at my hospital and another at the national hospital here in Abj... I'm about 28weeks gone and if I'm really -, then this is he best time for me to take the rhogam injection from what I heard. I'm so confused and worried.

Please Repeat the blood group test to be sure of what you are, That's how I was told at antenatal that I'm Bpositive, thank God I was sure of my Rhesus factor I told them to do a rerun cos I'm sure it's Bnegative. They repeated the test and I came out negative. It's only negative mothers that take Rhogam.

Modified: After you are confirmed to be negative, Indirect coomb test will be done if you've been pregnant before for a positive partner cos exchange of blood might have happened during abortion miscarriage or childbirth.
I hope I've not got you confused.What I'm saying in essence is: Indirect coomb test is done if it's not a first pregnancy . The test is done to check if the antibodies have built up.

Try better labs like Synlab(pathcare) or mecure or clinix, ever since I got false results from these mushroom labs I stopped visiting them. Sometimes they use fake or expired reagents in these small labs , so just close eyes pay extra and use a better laboratory so you’re sure
