Your agent is correct. Because of GTE issues, anything related to your work experience is what would look genuine. Trying to change to a course that would give PR is a red flag.

February intake, though still waiting for coe, because my sponsored organization never paid full tuition aside the small payments I made.


Gurus in the house, please I want to know if the processing time of visa is same with for both scholarship student and self or parenting/guardian sponsors.

Gud day my brothers and sisters, pls I am interested in furthering my studies in Australia, I have gone thru the thread and I have seen different grants and timelines. Pls I want to come out plainly, I did PTE and the scores fall within the accepted range needed for my admission. My question is does DIBP accept PTE for student visa. I have HND in elect/elect, so I intend going for bachelor of information technology in Melbourne polytechnic. How does this look because I can't go for master with HND direct? I have written the sch if there will be transfer of credit from my previous qualification.

Don't bother yourself with training centers. Just go to edx.org.

Once you're on the site, search for IELTS. You will be glad you did.

Bro, according to my own perspective, you can simply enrol for study if that's your wish. Regarding you quitting your current job here in Nigeria, I would advise you to go with faith and apply to your school of choice in Australia, then proceed to visa application. While you're doing this, you can still retain your current job here till your visa is granted. The high point of all your question is if you will be able to assist your family if your working as a student in Australia. YES you can assist better than how u assist while you remain on your current job in Nigeria. I don't know how much you currently earn here but on getting a job in Aussie as a student, forget it you will earn nothing less than $24 per hour and working let say 30 hours within two weeks, I bet you will pay rent, feed, pay gas and internet bills with ease and could even support home with as little as you can. I would advice you not to put mind on paying school fee with the work u doing cos some forth night might pass without u having call to work more that 15 hours! Please repackage your plan and have sufficient fund ready that will cover tuition fee before you begin. Hope this help a bit

I've used them but not to Australia. They stop at Cairo and Abu Dhabi to Aussie. On the average, its a decent airline. The food isn't great and they don't serve alcohol. I'm sure these are not your worries, lol

I got my COE in a week and USD account was used for payment.

The best payment method is through dom(USD/GBP). AUD is also good if an individual is paying from an Australian account

Form A might be longer.

Yes they do accept one way ticket. I just booked 2 days ago for 7th July one way ticket to Sydney costing about N470k.

What was your experience with egyptair? Am planning of booking with them since is the cheapest for the moment. Also do I need transit visa to get to my destination (Sydney)?
