It really depends. What didn't work for Client A may work for B. They check travel history and denial records from USA, Canada and some others but it doesn't mean u wud not get it. Just be positive. Its gonna come. tommee: |

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by oobidike(f): 1:59am On Sep 25, 2018 |
Torrens university take close to 9000 aud per semester but I heard most torrens applicants were refused recently, not too sure though. But u can hardly get 15000 per year as most schools charge 10k to 15k per semester. You can so it yourself if you have the time if not find another agent that is ready to assist. Denials for other countries isnt a criteria for your Visa tommee: |

tommee: Go through the thread there was a guy who was denied Canadian visa twice and still got it .Just be truthful in your application and write your SOP as if your life depends on it. Lastly if your agent is still being all negative get another agent to work with. All the best |

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by MJ88: 8:03am On Sep 25, 2018 |
soopamom:From what I understand, you only need appointment for medicals. I did my medicals and biometrics same-day in Abj. Just go there with your biometrics letter, passport and money. 2 months and 2 weeks exactly today since I lodged my subclass500, no grant yet. Someone I met in Abj during medicals n biometrics collection is already in Sydney studying. OMG let this cup pass away. |

Morning, what's is the main purpose of getting a study leave?. To me it seems it's needed when you are returning to your job role on completion of overseas study or you will be seeking promotion... How can an organisation predict their staffing for 2 years? How possible? Which is more appropriate study leave or recommendation/reference letter?. I need a detailed response on this my people |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by jayooh: 11:46am On Sep 25, 2018 |
jolanrewaju:I guess because your resumption date is still a bit far, even if granted you can't enter Australia until 30days before u resume school. They are probably attending to people with closer dates. You should get your grant in early October. Relax |

Mzsho: The purpose of study permit to stay temporarily and that’s the purpose of GTE. Although they know most students stay back after their studies but for the reasons best known to them they still want applicants to satisfy that they will leave after their studies. You traveling with your husband (he is even getting leave of absence from work) and leaving your kids behind is just making it obvious that youare relocating and we will come back for the kids later which contravenes GTE. The best route is for you to apply alone and use your husband and kids as an incentive to return. Your husband can apply after your grant as a subsequent entrant (study visa) and NOT visitor visa. This should be easy and he will need to proof GTE too. He will need to apply that he is getting his annual leave and visiting his wife. He will be granted a visa that coincide with your visa and he can work full time if you studying master or PhD. After that you can apply for your kids. Don’t make it obvious that he works for your mum, it is not a convincing tie. All the best. 1 Like |

Hey guys, It’s been a while I posted here, although I keep getting lots of mails and SOPs for review. A quick point for applicants, SOP are very important and it does not have to be many pages, I recommend at max a page and half in order to make it easier for the case officer The most important point to stress are: 1) professional and educational experience 2) establish link for studying the proposed course with your professional and educational background 3) your motivation for studying the course and why Australia. They really need people to come in and I think they are just making sure the people that comes in are the ones that know what they want and they will contribute to the system. CAN WE WORK TO PAY TUITION ? Yes lots of students are working to pay 12000 dollars per semester. Although it is tough working and doing assignments but you will be alright. It’s a really good place and everyone that comes will be happy they chose Australia. You can ask more questions here. 2 Likes |

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by zeemo2007: 11:01pm On Sep 26, 2018 |
tommee: Banking and finance and accounting are related. It is better you apply directly to master if you can. In the long run, you might still need to still study a master degree so that you can apply for PR. Professional accounting does not sound too good for PR at the moment but you can always change your course when you get in. |
