Hello guys, I just discovered this thread this evening. We just received our ITA yesterday, my wife is the primary applicant. We have started filling the application form online. So, we inquired and got to know that the hospitals for the test were Children practice and Q life hospitals in lagos. Now, our issue is that the first hospital said they weren't attending to Canada testings for now while the second hospital said the next available date for testing is in December. Guys, are those the only hospitals for the test? And if they are, what do we now do?
I read all the posts from page 424, someone said they 'gate crashed' one of the hospitals and was lucky to be fixed the following day. The onus is on you to find that post and do the needful.

Good day all. I’m a silent reader on this thread and I desperately need an answer. My husband is the primary applicant and is self employed. His company is a limited liability company. Are tax receipts compulsory? If yes,is it FIRS or LIRS? Hoping to get a response to enable us move forward and prepare all our documents while waiting for ITA. Thank you

Guys, please what's the difference between eligibility under review and eligibility in progress. MEP, Biometrics done, criminality check passed...been on eligibility under review for a long time now. Please what does the under review mean?

Just got back from a planning for Canada session held today somewhere at Ikeja. Guys make sure you register and attend this, I promise that the amount of research you have done doesn’t make up for the quality of information you get there.

I was just sad when I saw that a country that one haven’t landed in can organize orientation programs, pay for hall rental with feeding inclusive, employ staff and pay flight for them to travel city to city to enlighten people of their options before they land (All free of charge).
The government of Canada is doing this for people that are not even their citizens, trying as much as possible to ensure that you succeed, yet I can’t list one tangible thing that Nigeria has done for me.
It’s well.

My dear Nairalander, after attending such an informative session earlier this year, after chopping food and enjoying all you stated above, as I took my IOM/CIC red bag (with the cute flash drive + my certificate of attendance) I knew my life would never remain the same.

I just felt it even tho na only ITA i get that time. Such care from a government wen nor even know me sef. It was from that day I began to feel like a Canadian sef, not PR oh! Full Canadian citizen. LOL

My Dear! I kept wondering why the man was boldly telling us of his antics. It's really sad and doesn't in any way qualify as being sharp. I just hope he realizes his PR status and even citizenship status can be taken away if he is found wanting in some ways. Massive congrats to all ITA and PPR recipients! The pages and pages of goodnews i had to catch up with made light my ride back home from the Planning for Canada Session.

Also I have to state that hopefully some people won’t carry their Nigerian bad character for flaunting rules to Canada.
One guy in my session kept talking fondly of laws he broke knowingly though he wasn’t caught, when he traveled there recently for child birth.

What I was saddened by the most was how he alluded it to Nigerian sharpness, this same sharpness, and apparent disregard for authority by lots of individuals, that has kept Nigeria in it’s current state.

It’s well.

Go to one of the hospitals, arrive as early as possible. Explain your situation. Some appointments are usually open or unused and may be reassigned to you. Best wishes.

So sorry about that.
You will have to reapply and make sure it's complete this time.
Unfortunately, you'll lose the fees but RPRF will be returned.
Prepare your profile and apply again, let the child do the medicals asap, there should be CIC approved hospitals in the UK

So sorry dear,

First I think you can appeal or so , and let her do the medicals and then maybe attach the report with the appeal. ( i’ve only heard about it, not sure how to appeal, maybe you can research that)

Second, while the appeal process if going on(if you go for it) , please enter the pool again, and reapply , make sure she does her medicals and then upload accordingly with the rest of your docs.

Don’t give up please...

I got UK PCC in October 2017 and I visited for 2 weeks in November, can I use such PCC for my application?

Thanks

You can use it, this is what the website says

'For any other country from which you need a police certificate: the police certificate must have been issued after the last time you stayed in the country for 6 months or more in a row.'

You can also check for yourself here ; https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

Did u say u r about to enroll?, so your one and half years will start counting from when? why not try doing a PGD with NOUN or NACETEM(OAU), by the third quarter of next year u should be done...I personally think one and half years is a very long time......my opinion tho

I get your point, I'll try and enquire as regards cost of PGD with NOUN, M.Sc is a no no, quite high. But before that one and half year period used to obtain the CIPM cert elapses, my work experience would have reached 3years plus POF being ready. A lot of things are not in place for me as regards this journey currently, I am trying to put them together bit by bit.

1. The ‘exemptions’ do not pose any negative effect of any sort. Your certificate is what matters. If WES continues with the trend, your certificate will be evaluated as such.

2. If you enroll for Intermediate 2 now, your first exams will be Feb 2019 and you’ll be done with all exams by Feb 2020. Can’t say about certificate collection/convocation but trust shouldn’t be a biggy.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the response, it helped a lot. I budgeted 2020 to be game officially in this Cana journey, my main constraint has been POF, but I'll beat this hurdle soonest. God crown my efforts.
