You only need 3yrs to get maximum work experience points. If you have reference letter for 2014-2018, you can use only that. You will fill others in personal history after ITA when you apply for PR.

Awesome Analysis!

Cos you have previously applied as a temporary resident to Canada and you have done a biometrics before. They usually last for 10 years from when you first get it done

Please, does anyone know why a biometrics date might be back dated? Mine is, and I dont know what to do?

Hello Everyone,

For anyone who recently upgraded their ECA with WES for APEGA certification, does one need to send secondary school results (WAEC) for this upgrade?

Hello there,
If WES verified a Nigerian university degree then YES you will need WAEC for upgrade, but if otherwise you wont.

Good day everyone and thanks for the volume of resources here.
I have sent my transcripts to WES and 1 of that is awaiting verification. I have also written ielts and awaiting the outcome of the remark of my writing.
I only just remembered that the date of birth on my passport is different from that on both my waec and university credentials.
What do I do? Thanks

I suspect, cannot speak categorically, that the operative word here is “lived”, can a visitor to a country be said to “live” there. From reading your quote above I am not sure a person will require a new PCC after a visit, subject to proof other than the quote above.

Please ooooo, for countries u already have PCC , once u step foot there again and leave, ur previous PCC is null and void oo, u will be required to request for another. I av seen cases of rejection for that. smslive2 is right.
Let's not do trial and error with this. It's even on their site as quoted by smslive2

Just to be clear, WAEC will be needed in order to upgrade to the course-by-course evaluation needed by APEGA, if my BSC degree is from Nigeria?

The below seems to contradict that. A renewal will only be required where you visit for 6 months or more. If your assertion is correct then we should require a PCC for every country visited regardless of duration.

Thank you all for this forum.
I just need clarification on these two issues.1) my wife was denied a US visa alongside her family 2years ago before we got married. When I asked her if they were given reasons for refusal she said NO,that her Family was given a pink form after the interview.I intend to state it during my application Post ITA(spousal refusal). The thing is do I need an LOE?I am guessing so..How should the LOE be constructed to make it detailed yet less complex? 2)For my POF,we have a deed of gift for funds transferred to our joint account from my father in-law.We intend to put it into treasury bills and present the TB certificate alongside deed of gift for POF.i know I should include 6months statement of this joint account but since it isn't my salary account will it be ok if I add 6month statement of my salary account? Will an LOE suffice to explain these accounts statements as well as the source of my POF?I will really want to limit LOEs for sake of complexity. Please advise.Thank you

Thanks Nlanders for always helping out. Do I also need to evaluate my WAEC Certificate as I am evaluating my Bachelors degree with ices? If I do will it give more points for EE selection? And would it mean an extra $200 charge as they charge $200 per Certificate? Pls help me get this evaluation done right. Many thanks All.

Hello everyone, please oblige my questions.
1) Can a PGD from NOUN help me in getting extra points for Two or more certificates?
2) If i have a zero interest housing advance from my company which is deducted from source, can it be used to form my POF? I haven't taken it till i'm sure it wont have a negative impact.
Thank you

If you're using ICES, you don't need to evaluate WAEC, it won't give you any additional points.

Yes. You can capture the others under personal history and save yourself the stress of looking for reference letters.
2014 - 2018 already gives you the maximum points for work experience

This should only happen if you had provided your biometrics in an earlier visa application, if that’s not the case, Call IRCC or raise a CSE

Please how do I raise a CSE. How do I go about it?

I did apply for a visitors visa in 2014 with my family but then I withdrew it and called back my passport because I had to apply for UK student visa. I was only informed yesterday of the rejection letter because I was no longer in Nigeria when they rejected our application. I thought since I called back my application I was exempted from getting a decision on the visitors visa.

My issue now is I clicked that I had not applied previously for a visa to Canada in the preinvitation to apply form. Secondly I have already done biometrics.
And I was sent schedule A to fill. Now there I ticked yes to haven been refused visa to Canada previously.

Please how should I handle this. I'm tensed up.

Please I have a question.

Must I include my current job to my work history even when I'm not claiming points for it?
Do I have to get reference letter & pay slips for it?
