Thank you for response. i'll make do with the affidavit. Lol at running with his money.
SolutionsGuy:

This is not misery biko.
I believe the affidavit should suffice. But if it bothers you that much, get him transfer the POF to your own account and make the gift deed (gift deed isn't even necessary in this case, just include it in an LOE).

Or is he afraid you'll carry the money and run? (this is a joke pls!).

Hello house. Pls which eca is the best for OND and HND. That is fast and gives two or more certificate. And pls i need help and tips in ielts reading n writing. Thanks
ICES seems to be the faster option and they will give a positive evaluation, but u have to pay per credential, as in 400CAD for OND and HND, which is still better compared to having to go tru WES verification and WAEC hurdles.

No, I don't.

Well done.

Do you have an idea of the duration of classes on Saturdays? E.g. 9am to 2pm?

Hello to all the beautiful people on this platform...

And special recognition and accolades grin to all who (without compensation) provide information here for others to move forward... well done!

A quick question please:

I'd like to know if it is possible to get licensed by any of the provincial teachers regulatory bodies in Canada.

I had the impression that one could increase his/her CRS points by getting licensed by a teachers regulatory body (e.g. Ontario College of Teachers) right from here in Nigeria after fulfilling all the requirements.

Has anyone gone through such a process here? Or does anyone have useful information I can use regarding getting licensed from Nigeria?

Your responses are highly appreciated.

One's not getting younger, and CRS points are dropping with each passing birthday... sad

Ejo... Biko... Please help!

Thank you...

Please help abeg....

Please for those that used ICES, how did you track it to your international address? Secondly is it when transcript is received that your status changes to application received?

LOE is Letter of Explanation.

Your husband will write a letter that he is the one providing the POF and has transferred it to your account.

You can PM me for a sample letter.

Hello great people, i am an avid reader and follower of this wonderful post as i plan to migrate to the promised land next year.
I intend to use the "Masters degree or professional degree" option for my wife's education qualification (she's the PA) in-order to score more points in CRS. I want to know if LAW graduates needs to evaluate their law school (call to bar) as a professional certificate as well as their 1st degree from the University. I intend to use ICES (and not WES due to WAEC inclusion), even-though, i will pay twice for both qualifications. Please any person in my shoe or any lawyer with similar experience should advice me. Much appreciated and thanks.

Don't know if someone has responded to you. Evaluate only your LLB. But do it with IQAS.

I really need to determine if these certificates are accepted. There's a lack of clarity.

WES's website says they only evaluate academic certificates/degrees but not professional ones.

But IRCC's website doesn't state that.

paule:

Thank you. Wow, just discovered that their timeline is 12 weeks.

Secondly, do project management professional (PMP) and other ICT certificate like Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco etc qualifiers as professional certificate or must it be MBBS or LLB/M?

People of God, help me o! Let me summarise my long post.

For PoF, I am expecting some money for work done and it'll cover the PoF required. However, I intend to print bank statement for October -December (the fund will be in my account for just 6-8weeks). Is there a problem with this? Should I wait for the fund to be 'breathing' in my account for 3 months before printing out statement of account?

Thank you!

ijoseda:
Hey Guys,

Thanks for the good work on this thread!

I started my PR runs in September 2018. I am expecting IELTS result and ECA assessment by the end of this month. Based on the CRS simulation that I did, I should have a score of between 440-448 (I don old small). I intend to get into the pool by middle to end of November (waiting for my spouse's ECA - MSc was in Nigeria, so a little delayed)

I need a bit of clarification on the POF. Here is my peculiar situation.

I work as an independent consultant with erratic income, however, 80% of my income is from two sources and I intend to include those sources as part of my employment history. In the past 3 months, I've not earned from those two sources, however, I expect some inflow from both sources in November. The expected sum is large enough to cover my POF. My dilemma is this; If I print out my statement of account by end of December(OCT-DEC), the fund from those two sources wouldn't have stayed in my account for more than 6weeks, but it'll be clear that it is my personal fund since I have the contract papers to back it up. Will this be a problem?

The other option would be for me to keep the fund in the account from November till the end of January and then print out the 3 months statement. The implication of this is that I can't enter the pool until late December or early January.

My good people, I need your advice! (my preference would be to get into the pool ASAP)

Most times classes dont really start by 9am, lets say at about 10:30/11am and ends around 3pm

If you have time, you can wait. But you don't need to.
Just explain the source satisfactorily in your LOE

I didn't get pickup mail oh.... 6 working days after passport approved and tracking changed to "Dispatched to Lagos vfs" I called them to know if tortoise was the one bringing my passport back and they told me it was ready.
The SMS I paid for sef, I didn't get even half of a notification

Thank God this came. I’m in this situation presently. My account changed to approved Oct 9, passports dispatched from Accra Oct 11...I waited for PUM, nothing! So I went to vfs Abuja yesterday just to check but they told me it wasn’t there. Only for me to track my application yesterday night the dispatch date changed to Oct 18, that is yesterday. In all honesty I’m a little worried. I just assumed they were meant to write delivered Oct 18 not dispatched again? So I was seriously expecting PUM today. e no sure. Their number sef refused to connect. Please does anyone have any idea what’s going on here? After reading your post I may go back again on Monday. Biko what do you suggest/think? Anyone?
