I meant the regular Canadian mail, like the Nigerian regular post mail. I believe the 2 you mentioned come and go with tracking number, but the regular mail mayn't.

1st GCMS note request: 22 May 2018
1st GCMS note received: 19 June 2018 (Eligibility, Security and Background check had not started. Everything looks fine from the notes, just that case processing agent’s comments that review required for my settlement funds and police certificate got me worried.

I sent an email to LVO to request for status update on my application on the 2nd of Aug and LVO replied my email on the 5th day that I should raise CSE (but I do not want to rise CSE until after 180days post AOR).


2nd GCMS notes request: 14 Aug 2018

I sent an application status request email to Hon Ralph Goodale on the 4th of Sep, and he replied the same day that my Eligibility was under review, and that Security & background check were yet to be initiated.

I raised my 1st CSE on the 5th of Sep and got a response from LVO 6 days after that my file was in the que awaiting review by an immigration officer.

2nd GCMS notes received: 13 Sep 2018 (Got to know that LVO visited my LinkedIn and Facebook profiles and that of my wife).

I got an admission for a master in Information Systems Security Management at Concordia university after my first IELTS, but my student visa application was refused (the VO was not convinced that I would return to Nigeria after my study).

Congrats to all IELTS acers, ITA clenchers and PPR victors I can see I have missed quite a bit. Quick question I transferred back to Nigeria recently. I was wondering should I raise a CSE to inform IRCC of my address change or would it make sense for me to wait for PPR before I notify them? Also are there any other implications which I need to consider based on this change of location. I will appreciate your help on this. Thanks

please I need advice on how to go about the application, I have followed from part 1- 5. I will the principal applicant, I am married with 3kids, I have 4years post university work experience, an Msc and currently working in a multinational firm.

My husband has a Canadian visa that will expire by 2022. He travelled last month to Canada on a short visit from USA.

My question is this I will be using his account as proof of fund should I also include his account in USA and should I also include him in my application since he already has a Canadian visa. Help me out

Standard delivery with ICES is free of charge to a Canadian address. No tracking option. Mail get delivered in 4 - 5 days. I have experienced this. They are not nipost.

If you have a friend's address, use it as you'd be fine.

There is regular mail option, and it is NOT trackable axcording to Ices.

if by standard mail you mean regular mail, then you mayn't be able to track your mail. The option may save you financial cost, what about time cost? You may upgrade to courier delivery by paying the stipulated amounts respectively.
