Since the inception of Buhari's government, no country has shown much interest in investing in Nigeria including US except for the loans the government got from China after buhari visited several countries at the beginning of his administration seeking for those countries to invest in Nigeria, but all to no avail. I'm optimistic that the Atiku's will rebuild Nigeria's bilateral relationship with US.

Countries deal with issues that affect their relationships not who rules over such countries.
Nigeria being a shithole only exist in the mind of failures.
Besides, are you proposing or expecting Atiku presidency ??.

Whoop whoop!!

Started in North Carolina for a year, moved to Texas and been here 20 years y'all! Texas is awesome!

https://www.businessinsider.com/texas-is-the-best-place-to-live-in-america-right-now-heres-why-2018-9

Texas was hell on earth for me with its terrible desert heat, endemic mental illness, poisonous biting nasty things like rattlesnakes, brown recluses, scorpions and swarms of wasps. One man's paradise is another's hell.
If you are doing your own business it's great with low taxes, low cost of living, cheap fuel and labor. For wage slaves it's absolute hell with the extrmely hostile work culture and intolerant mentality.

I don't know where you were but that is not the Houston, tx I live in except for the heat (which is one of the things I love)! Jesus. The place you're describing sounds like a helll hole. Houston and Texas are constantly in top lists of places to live in America.

As far as your second point, I worked for many companies in Houston from minimum wage up till just south of six figures and never experienced either a hostile work culture or intolerance. Could this be a case of you get what you put out like we warned about earlier? Where are you now and how are you doing there?

Actually, the relationship was ruined under Jonathan and not Buhari. Once he missed a meeting of world leaders because he was drunk, Nigeria was written off. Not everything is Buhari for God's sake.

Talking about US politics, the early voting already started for the fall election and am throwing up a challenge here for those who live in the US only and are directly impacted by the presidency/Congress policies direction.
Am going for Republican maintaining control of Congress with odds 80% for the house and 55% for Senate.this is never going to be my preference but going by realities on ground now,I don't see Democrat edging it.who is up for the stake??

Buhari's economic policies has not in any way encouraged foreign investors to invest in the country hence, making Nigeria the poorest peoples on earth overtaking India in the latest ranking. I do not have any thing against the current government. All I want is a prosperous country where every Nigerians will be proud of.

I was in San Antonio. I've been to Houston many times to visit friends but its air was too dirty and there was too much traffic. I moved from San Francisco Bay Area to Texas so the culture shock was massive, work culture was outright hostile compared to the Silicon Valley and full of ridiculous bureaucracy + stupid dress codes. Not all of them was like this, one had no dress code and relax culture but unfortunately it was so awfully noisy it drove me insane I had to leave. I can do wonders in the right conditions. I can't tolerate bright lights and noise, especially lights above my head. Those stupid halfwits didn't let me remove or loosen the light bulbs above my head.(Californians had no problem, half of the people removed the overhead lights and no one cared.) They forced me to sit under that terrible light and endure the torture, and expected me to be productive. the neatness of light bulbs was more important than the wellbeing of the workers. I felt like a slave there majority of the time. Except for the last place where I did night shift and sat in the dark and quiet. I felt less tired after the 12 hour shift there than 2 hours at the other ex-workplaces.

I'm in Finland now and living the dream. It's paradise on earth(for me at least.) They leave me the f alone at work, let me shut off the light, plug my ears, let me do my thing and I do wonders. I had crap performance in Texas cause it was oppressive, horrible environments most of the time. Now I'm treated like a rock star cause I deliver like one.

It's really utopic, no desert heat, no rattlesnakes, scorpions and deadly poisonous spiders. Those terrible spiders get inside no matter how much you watch, if you are watching the floors they crawl from the doorframe above your head, and always get into the house I know some people who got disfigurations from chunks of dead flesh being surgically removed as the result of that spider's bite. I saw rattlesnakes in my and other people's backyards more than once. And then there are the fire ants. God forbid if you are into gardening, step on their nest and they crawl all over your legs, their bites sting like hot needles being stuck in your skin, and leaves nasty blisters. Maybe Houston suburbia isn't such a jungle. Austin and San Antonio both were, full of nasty creepy-crawlies.

The heat made me sick, I couldn't go out in daytime and had to buy groceries after sundown. You leave the car in the sun for 5 minutes and even if you put a shade behind the windshield you will find it a furnace when you come back from the store. We all know one won't be able to buy food in 5 minutes.... more like 40 and you can cook an egg inside that car with the ambient heat. Someone actually did experiments baking cookies in side a car in Texas heat. LMAO. It legit becomes an oven and you can cook stuff without any need for fire!

If you love heat it's great. I didn't like being locked up inside all day cause of the oppressive heat. It was so depressing. Now I'm quite happy in Finland with the snowy winters and frozen seas. I can go out whenever I want, bicycle and run without the fear of heat stroke. I can go ski on the frozen seas in winter. Freezing cold is fresh and makes me feel alive, not lethargic and half-dead.

Lol...so you people have finally admitted pmb do have some policies in place but because they are impacting positively on the economy going forward and impacting negatively on like mind pockets hence the whining.
Your party pdp and your heroes ran the country aground for 16years despite the enormous Goodwill from Nigerians, deep financial resources and "made in heaven" policies all failed to put Nigeria in the path of greatness but you now expect pmb,the miracle worker to turn it around in 3years still beat my imagination.
It's even ironic that same set of people that call the country all sort of names, same people that want secession with the threat of boycotting elections before now are the ones claiming to love and more patriotic than the real Nigerians.
Hmmmm...set of confused people.

His policies were a necessary evil to try to curb fraud and embezzlement. Until that issue is dealt with, nothing else in this country will work. Did his policies make it harder to do business? Yes. But they also made it harder to commit fraud. If his policies didn't exist, my franchises would not have come to Nigeria. Unfortunately he lost his way and backed off too soon from pressure. Country been screwed up for years and y'all really thought it would be fixed with a snap of the finger?

Heard from who? People that haven't lived there? Because like i said before, Texas, Houston and Austin constantly rank among the best places to live in America. As far as jobs go, Houston is the number one job creator in the country. We don't even feel recessions when the country has them.

Personally I dislike the heat in Houston. I dont live there but I have friends who live there and all they gripe about is the damn summer heat. I dont function well in hot climes especially with the sticky humidity messing up your asss. Dang.

I would have love the Midwest but racism is all too real there. Maybe the East coast especially Illinois or maybe Chiraq would do me some good.

Any idea what goes on in Minnesota,?

Very common misconception about racism in east coast, Midwest may be overt with their racism but east coast still has very bad racism. They may not hang no black here signs but they they show it in practice. Look at places like baltimore , New York or Chicago, high population of black people but still very racist cities, especially if you look at the systemic effects.

I share in your dislike of Texas.despte how beautiful some of the cities are,the weather situation there is a put off for me but it still a far cry to the situation in Nevada or Arizona though, those places are where the kingdom of hell is situated.
As per racism, the state of Illinois is part of Midwestern and racism knows no location,it's everywhere and you shouldn't allow it determine your situation.apart from severe weather condition in most part of the region like Minnesota especially during winter,I think Midwestern is relatively peaceful and cool to live.
