Honestly, we need the re-institution of War against Indiscipline (WAI) by our PATRIOTIC leaders. Simple queueing at the ATM stand is algebra to us, and we end up wasting time more time than we bargain for.

Even when dustbins are provided in various strategic location, it's either the officer in-charge let's it get overloaded with debris or the citizens do not obey the laws or outrightly steal it.

War against Indiscipline (WAI) can be brought back again, no matter the president in power. Instilling discipline to a grown person is like weaning an addict of the addiction; it takes time, firmness, no hesitation to use a disciplinary measures and adopting a non compromising stance. Nigeria should not take the Liberal approach towards Indiscipline!

Everyday I get livid just correcting simple commonsense morals.
You see individuals enter a public bus which is supposed to be shared by at least four people and they will sit with their legs spread out like they are on a sofa in their living room. You tell them to please adjust and you will hear strings of Yoruba curses directed at you simply because you paid to sit beside them in a bus!
As if that's not bad enough, they will proceed to elbow throughout the journey with excuses of looking for their phones or wallets in their pockets or handbags, you complain, you are mannerless.
A sane Nigerian will enter a bus (knowing fully well he has no change) where the conductor or driver is shouting enter with your change ooo and still fight the conductor or driver over giving him/her change in time.
Its in Nigeria that students will cheat during tests and exams and be angry that the educational system is not working. How will it work, when you didn't allow the data that would determine an appraisal of the system to be accurate? Are the educational board workers witches and wizards to know what is the real results?
It's Nigeria where staffs of an organisation want the boss to give them exception to go for family meetings, weddings, and burials and still pay them salaries for those days they were absent at work, because the boss has a fertile ground for money tree at his house.

In my area, state govt had contracted Gitto to build a new road for a village that had no road at all. Contractors had moved to site, workers, equipments and all. I was shocked when youths blocked the contractors, seized their equipments and even beat up some of the workers. When I enquired about what happened, I was told that the chief had ordered the youths to demand for 20million from the contractors before starting work which the contractors had settled the chief 2M and youths 1M before proceeding to site.

I knew from that day that there's something wrong with us as a people.

Nigeria awkward, very awkward. You create something beautiful or of great importance and before you know, it gets destroy or stolen. In Benin, you provide street lights and the next thing trucks and buses starts running into them. Same goes for road dividers. Manhole covers for drainages gets stolen at nyt. Nigeria is a self destructive country. You want to fix a road for them and youths of the community tell you that you have to pay them for it cos they have been the ones maintaining the roads. I want to leave this country becos a lot of the pple don't have right thinking minds. I can't live in hell twice but I can try live in heaven twice. Canada pls accept me with open arm.

education not poverty. Education can get rid of poverty. I don't mean only formal education but education within society. Elders,church, parents,peer groups etc. In the old days,it's done through folk tales but today it's otherwise. I'm even scared for the newer generations watching violence and immorality.

Stop motivating yourself with leadership traits that you sillying don't have. That post up there is insightful. Some Nigerians really have something wrong with them.
