To those doubting Thomas, when I posted my earnings, it was purely to motivate others and encourage you to start early because that's where the money is, I only work weekends and Monday morning, I'm in the office now relaxing but btw 5am and 8, I already clocked 10k and more if I add uber commission. I could have made more because I rejected airport trip to be in the office. I know there are some drivers that make way more than what I posted and somone called me lier.

I don't know the car involved, but from uber experience..

4 struts (KYB new)
Cv joints
Ball joints
Low cotrol arms
Tie rods
Upper strut mounts
Brake rotors
Brake pads and lining
Wheel hub bearings
Exhaust work
Panelbeating and paintwork
Tyres
Na waoo, that's like bringing the car back to life and tells how much damage that have been done to the car.
Some drivers don't care about partners cars all they are after is money making. Some even work round the clock, why won't the car get issues. They will dump it and switch to the next available car.

Bro I changed my bad brake pad and I notice hissing sound anytime break is applied. I thought it will stop but it's obviously not stopping anytime soon. What do I do?
Please

No pairing on Taxify.
Drivers are the sole partners.
You register as the car owner.

Thanks bro...you think it's not possible! well that's how you see it!
The problem most pilot have is them been desperate to drive with any prize/condition given to them by partners. At the same time partners also want to make money while most of them want quick money to buy another car withing a short period which I see it as a long term relationship business between the two parties pilots/partners but I blame no one but the app companies who give false hope of returns to partners... everything is business! This i Am telling you will only be understood by the experienced pilots, sometime pilots gain but brother i tell you he/she's gain is saved to keep the car in good shape except for the greedy pilots who careless! I have had one or two experience with partners but all i see is that all they talk about is their money, forgotten the risk and bad side of the business which pilots face everyday. I work hard the best way i can to please my partners but they refused to listen to we pilots advise better still they listen to their friends who tell them the business is rosy and their pilots are paying them regularly while pilots are different from one another and it's the pressure some have from partners that makes them work to the extreme tirelessly in order to meet up the demands and in the end they end up having accidents and so much more. Brother there are partners out there who would like to give out their good cars at that price to a good trust worthy pilots or even less (don't be surprised) but lies have filled the air about pilots some partners are also desperate about money and some listen outside the box.
for now the business competition is not what it used be anymore. I believe you know all these and i hope you understand my few reasons and for my kind, I don't work under pressure because life is very important to and when a pilot dies he/she is gone while insurance repairs the car and it's back on the road with this pilots will want to be safe at all times that's the reason why pressure given by partners to their pilots leads to pilots dropping their cars... most pilots don't know what they want too it's when they are in they start seeing things themselves .(no doubt there are good and bad pilots).
The truth is all these will keep going on like that only if pilots would think of themselves and the business with the partner been supportive in every way. I know of a partner as at October 2015 he has been collecting remittance of 30k on his cars of Toyota corolla 2012 and as of now he has given the car to the pilots who had driven it... here is understanding and support between the two parties...
With my experience in this field i already know my capacity.
If there is understanding and lesser greed in this business pilots and partners will always be happy with one another. Brother once more thanks for the good luck... (It's possible)

Bros let them use it, some riders can be wicked, imagine! Today, I pick a rider from Berger to 2nd round about on taxify 2100. I try to talk to this guys this thing can't be the real price, let them chill while I review, they don't even want to listen to me and one even said is too much, he usually take Ojodu to lekki 1400. Speechless me, I just let dem, while I use d money to buy fuel and feel like blowing home because that sh"t really low my moral. But such its life, its a dog eat dog world out dia.

I spot a charity driver, that fare is always about 4000 naira plus and u let go like that. You must be very nice then . Keep it up... Oworoshoki to 2nd roundabout is 2500 naira. Honestly the rider that said the trip is 1400 is very dubious.

These re the challenges you face when you are new.

I often pickup riders going to mall past 7pm or 9pm and once I get to the gate, I do ask them if they want me to end the trip. If they refuse, then I will let them know that I will collect the flat rate to be paid when coming out of the mall or they come down here

Imagine, doing a #400 trip to circle mall from victory park and the rider expect me to pay at the exit gate in the mall. It's not possible naw

I recently just spent N300, 000 putting a car in 'good condition' after it'd been seriously abused by drivers like yourself. Car in good condition for N25k grin
you spent that amount on your car, check urself brother I bet you were not nice to ur pilot and that's greed from your side. I tell you, no pilots in his or her right senses if been treated right will cost you this much but it's greedy partners like you that end up this way. I hope you are not looking for another pilot to control with your greedy style, if u do, this time oyo is the case. be nice bro and you will be happy.

The table rotates, I drove my civic this morning and I earn what I couldn't make last week Wednesday to Friday combine before 9:15am.

From then till now, I haven't gotten another request. Does that mean I am not doing it right? No. If you close from work and I m still below 12k does it mean you can do better? Yes and No

Riders determine when and where to make money on this platform. You are lucky today do not mean it will continue like that. Most importantly we should keep praying for more luck.

You can't blame any partner for getting a bad driver. Its always tough for a good driver to go rogue. Good driver will rather return the car in good condition to the partner and source for a better offer.

Luckily for me, I followed same route around 5:15am and got to admiralty by 6:48am and it was my 2nd trip for the day. I'm now at the airport, I saw the traffic from Simpson to oworoshoki . stand still. Now I need to take the rider back without following that route ie airport to admiralty road

I follow every trip cm by cm, yesterday a driver tried to be smart by ending trips a few streets away, I sha reported him

Drivers are making more money because a lot of them are becoming dubious.
He probably didn't have control over the GPS 'shakushaku' then tried to make it up to you. Some drivers don't do it intentionally. It happens to me sometimes

New ke! 2 months roll nd its a year, I know lekki is above 4k, but who do I blame? Even the review since yesterday is still pending, sometimes that energy to b dragging with 3 science students is not just dia. Sometimes the app favours the driver and sometimes it burn. The only one that seems to hurt me is when rider start dragging app price "I don't pay more then dis dat for trip like this", I'll just b lookin lyk OYO is ur case.
