To add to what he is saying...You must have a sponsor for the visa in UAE that is how UAE visa works. And that is where middlemen called agents come in. The shorter the middlemen men, the better the price. Greed can inflate the price too. Also you can be scammed if you fall into wrong hands.

Tips for the newbies in Dubai before you go out for job hunting simply use google maps to get the direction, metro station names,bus stops and bus numbers you will be using. It will save you a lot of money if you know your way round so that you will know when to trek and when to use public transport.
Alternatively download this app from playstore S'hail, you can even add your nol card number to it and it shows you your balance left.
Also when ever you tag in in the metro station, you have either 1 or 2 mins I think to tag out if you don't want to be charged. A times you might forget something and need to go back so this info will come in handy

Hey all, been a long time I visited this zone. Please, a quick one, what's the best way to obtain a transit visa.

If someone would be travelling and connecting via dubai/abu dhabi and there is over 12 hours stop, arriving early morning and leaving late night. Would just like to go around town without any hassles.

Depends on airline. Most airlines will give you FOC hotel acomodation and food tickets. You can't roam about in the city without visa

Pls a friend of mine have been in Dubai for 2 over years now ,and he is telling me to come over there that he will help me get a job,also help me with 3 months visa at price of 350k ,he said that the visa will be transform to working permit when I get there ...
From what I have red in some other countries getting a job with visit visa seem mostly impossible..
Can I get a job in Dubai with with 3 months vist visa ?
Can it also be transform to working permit ..

I does not have to be an overnight transit. Depending on airline and class of ticket bought, Most, if not all, will offer FOC hotel and meal tkt.

Never heard of Dubai transit visa. Been on Dubai for 14 and 23 hours transit respectively with Emirates and got hotel to rest and refresh before the next flight.
