Too many useless n annoying riders on Taxify,
just got a poor rating from this useless rider, which is because she wanted me to pack in front of her house on express, now the opposite road a truck packed there, I told her I can't pack in front of her house, as I will be double packing which is totally wrong in our profession, she did not say anything again, even when I said thank you after I got paid for the trip she gave me no reply, I knew I had offended her, before I knew it my rating dropped. sad

You can register with Taxify as a fleet owner but the minimum criteria is 3 cars. This way, you can link your driver to your car.

LCWind:

No pairing on Taxify.
Drivers are the sole partners.
You register as the car owner.

I stand to be corrected.

What is required for this Job is not only a good car but a very good phone. I use Samsung J7 Pro (about 100k) and my 4G is always constant anywhere any-day.

slamstanlee:
and if u don't. U can't end d trip.
Few times my riders shared Hotspot with me especially on cash trip. Other times i ask dem to just give me what dey saw on d estimate, i lose 100-200 naira atimes.
But on card, i just tell d rider d trip isn't ending cause of poor coverage of my network, i will switch to 3g and refresh d network and if it doesn't end i will have to move away from here a little. And they always agree, and still give 5star.

Taxify is beginning to treat their drivers as slaves that has no say. At least Uber is getting to go along with the drivers as they always have surveys they put in place to ask about the drivers. I could remember one survey that asked how incentives should be given which they have responded by giving incentives twice now.

Thanks bro...you think it's not possible! well that's how you see it!
The problem most pilot have is them been desperate to drive with any prize/condition given to them by partners. At the same time partners also want to make money while most of them want quick money to buy another car withing a short period which I see it as a long term relationship business between the two parties pilots/partners but I blame no one but the app companies who give false hope of returns to partners... everything is business! This i Am telling you will only be understood by the experienced pilots, sometime pilots gain but brother i tell you he/she's gain is saved to keep the car in good shape except for the greedy pilots who careless! I have had one or two experience with partners but all i see is that all they talk about is their money, forgotten the risk and bad side of the business which pilots face everyday. I work hard the best way i can to please my partners but they refused to listen to we pilots advise better still they listen to their friends who tell them the business is rosy and their pilots are paying them regularly while pilots are different from one another and it's the pressure some have from partners that makes them work to the extreme tirelessly in order to meet up the demands and in the end they end up having accidents and so much more. Brother there are partners out there who would like to give out their good cars at that price to a good trust worthy pilots or even less (don't be surprised) but lies have filled the air about pilots some partners are also desperate about money and some listen outside the box.
for now the business competition is not what it used be anymore. I believe you know all these and i hope you understand my few reasons and for my kind, I don't work under pressure because life is very important to and when a pilot dies he/she is gone while insurance repairs the car and it's back on the road with this pilots will want to be safe at all times that's the reason why pressure given by partners to their pilots leads to pilots dropping their cars... most pilots don't know what they want too it's when they are in they start seeing things themselves .(no doubt there are good and bad pilots).
The truth is all these will keep going on like that only if pilots would think of themselves and the business with the partner been supportive in every way. I know of a partner as at October 2015 he has been collecting remittance of 30k on his cars of Toyota corolla 2012 and as of now he has given the car to the pilots who had driven it... here is understanding between the two parties...With my experience I already know my capacity.
If there is understanding and lesser greed in this business pilots and partners will always be happy with one another. Brother once more thanks for the good luck... (It's possible)

No problem my brother.. Like u said some are giving out their cars for 25k .. And at the same time some are doing narrative for 20k and below... sooner or later narrative go end and na matter of time before partners go throw in the tower.
And no matter how much drivers deliver.. At the end of the day it is the owner that deals with repairs and also will deal with huge debt.....
And to all the partners giving out their cars to fleet coy... I wish you the best of luck. Don't just sit down and just wait for money to start rolling in.. Get involved in the business and ask questions. Anytime repairs are been made, verify it before signing off with your money.. And keep mind that unwanted parts from your car can be sold to aboki that are into recycling..

People think partners pluck money to buy cars. If it so easy let drivers go get a loan from bank and give the cars out for 30k weekly

Let's conclude I had a bad day, after the said trip, I blow empty to yaba for trip, I got a trip at Abule ijesha, trip entered I did not ask destination, rider entered my car n said unilag,
Me: unilag asing unilag here Nawa. 400 trip I had to drive about 20km to get trip and I got 4km trip, okay was still calming my self down, waited at unilag for like 50min before another trip entered.
Again I did not ask destination got to pick up, started trip it was oshodi, was weak now, anyway to cut the story short, ended trip it was 1400, I showed rider she gave me 1500 she wanted to get her change, I said madam you know there was an error right? At least you ve been taking this trip and am very sure it can't be 1400 you ve been getting on it, after 85min journey, she got angry and didn't say anything and left, I did a trip review even tho I know Taxify cash trip review na waste of time for drivers, the trip is still on review till now, rider has gone n even rated poorly coz I cautioned her about the failed GPS.
Now was tired and frustrated decided to go home, was trying to navigate my self out of oshodi those there inner roads, used google map, traffic everywhere, Google map ended up showing a road I can use to come out of airport road, was on it, until i saw a big sign board that the road was closed, chai see wahala, to cut the story short I went home finally tomorrow I ve to start early to recoup my losses. Cheers

What is required for this Job is not only a good car but a very good phone. I use Samsung J7 Pro (about 100k) and my 4G is always constant anywhere any-day.

i hear u. I am not a newbie and i know the importance of a good phone for the job cannot be overemphasized. Plus i am a tech savvy too.
Regardless, i use 2 good flagship phones too, ZTE Axon7 (128k) a gift from my ex, and a samsung galaxy S6 (55k Europe used i bought). Both have multiple 4g bands. I dont go out with both same time. A tecno torchlite phone is standby for calls. My sims are 4g enabled. (I dont use only glo)

My point is, irrespective of ur phone type or d network u use, it doesn't cover every area with same signal strength.
Swift 4g may be so strong at ikeja and u find ursef at owode onirin struggling to accept incoming request.
At Admiralty way, close to ebe ano supermarket, my mtn 4g is a mess, at glover road ikoyi, my 9mobile struggles.
Today alone at lekki 1, between 6-7pm mtn data signal went off on 2g, 3g and 4g maybe cause of rain or bad weather. 100% service provision is not guaranteed... wink

As you mobile phone gets updated, you might probably need to calibrate your phone GPS or Compass for efficient performance while using the UBER APP and GOOGLE MAP

If you fail to do this then your GPS might not be working optimally and therefore tends to slight variation of distances covered during navigation while using the UBER APP

Also make sure your GOOGLE MAP is always up to date

If you wish to calibrate your phone GPS then open Google map app on your phone, if you notice that the blue dot is very big then you need to calibrate your phone GPS but if the blue dot is narrow or its in small size then you do not need to calibrate your phone GPS

Calibrate your phone GPS by holding it flat and moving it in figure eight direction in such a way that the upper and lower curves of figure eight direction of your phone are held vertical during the movement.
