This should be paper route since he said he is heading to the VFS tomorrow to pick up his passport. After the system maintenance yesterday, the rate of refusals from paper route was too much to bear. I still wonder if this guy's goes through an application entirety because all applications that were refused yesterday and today were all the same ground. It's very very sad cry
These people are just frustrating, please what's the ground of the refusals?

Thanks for the kind words.

There is nothing wrong in chnaging schools but for the course, you need to justify why you are going for a different program at PG level (probably yoiur current job is what is making you have a change of career). You can explain this clealry in your LOE.

thanks, sir.
am very sorry for disturbing please if my current job doesn't relate to the course, as being self-employed under my mother business company how am i gonna explain.
please, I will not mind and will be very grateful if you can give me your mail address in other to discuss well thank God bless.

Remember to send it with a copy of your Biometrics slip and receipt as evidence that you did biometrics there. I forgot that document at home as I thought it was something they could easily verify on their system but had to go back to pick it.

Thanks so much!

But from what I was told at Lagos vfs, no one can pick up your stamped passport, it has to be you.

I appreciate mightily!

1-) Travel History
2-) Family ties in Canada and country of residence
3-) Purpose of Visit
4-) Current Employment Situation
5-) Personal asset and financial status and
6-) Limited Employment prospects.

Majority of September applicants that applied through paper route are already getting response from CIC and majority of them are refusals.

Once they set their eyes on Nigerian applicants, they don't waste time in copying and paste refusal grounds. I think what heightens their suspicion about Nigerians is the alarming rate our people are frivolously seeking asylum in Canada. It got to a point when Canada had to warn USA of being too loose in giving visas to Nigeria because once those Nigerians enter USA with their visa, the next move is to head straight to Canadian border for asylum. Now USA has gone back to their old way of visa refusals to Nigerians

Please for those who have traveled and received their study permit, may I know what you presented as proof of funds? Should this be a new bank statement or cash?

Aside, introduction letter, passport, proof of funds, what other documents can one keep handy to present at port of entry?

Guys, please I need an answer to this question.
Keep your school acceptance letter aswell

Sometime you won't blame them, if you go to Canada visit section thread there was this guy that got a visa from an agent and he said the agent told him it's an "Asylum Visa" he was preparing to book a flight. Am not sure if its a real or fake visa all i know is i have never heard or seen anything like asylum visa on IRCC website. With situation like this and image about scam in Nigeria it's natural that Nigerians will be subjected to strict process.

It's obvious that this must have also contributed to the high refusal rate of visa refusals for Nigerian applicants not just that, it's also known that during the winter session there is always an increase in refusals compared to fall, this I noticed from my experience last year. I am pretty sure that the processing will also increase in a short time soon. Last year, the processing times by this time was 22weeks.

It will continue to end in praises for us all.

Hi gurus, Kindly assist with this:
Graduated with a B.SC in Computer Science 2003. Yet to have any Post Graduate qualification, she has worked for over 13years in Financial Institutions, with over 11 years in the Bank as a Business Development Manager. She is 36, married with a 2 year old daughter. Has travel history(US and UK). Both her and hubby have properties(on mortgage though).plan to take daughter along.

Was able to get Admission into Humber college within 2 weeks of application to study PGC Global Business Management.

Now, talking about putting docs together for the study permit, starting from the Bank statement, being a self sponsor plus husband a co sponsor they currently have their funds in investment accounts and not current account. Though their current accounts are transactional in that they receive salaries as inflows and also withdraw(outflows)

Q1- Can the investment account statements be used for the study permit application or they"'ll need to terminate into current account
Q2 - If they have to terminate, how long are the funds expected to be in their current accounts before they can print the statements?
Q3-Whats the process for upfront medicals?
Is there a specific form to be printed and taken along to the hospital? She live in Lagos.
Q4 - Humber has asked she applies for a co-op work permit alongside student permit, at what stage will she do this?

Kindly assist with these enquiries and advise generally considering her profile.

Thank you.

I'll answer based on my experience. She can use investment accounts as part of home tie in addition to hubby. I used my treasury bills since I have no land at moment, and didn't have documents to prove that of my dad.
But she still needs to have an account showing readily available funds which she will use to sponsor her program. If salary accounts of hubby and herself is sufficient, she can use that and add hubby as co sponsor.

Secondly, if you are to terminate, funds should be present having inflow and outflow for at 6months I think.

Thirdly, she needs her passport original and photocopy to go do upfront medicals, she'll be given a paper to upload for online application or submit for paper application.

Lastly, I also got the co op work permit thing from Humber college, she can apply when she gets the visa and is in Canada. This is what I plan to do also.
But in her application she should upload the acceptance letter showing mandatory co op work permit as a proof for work requirement for study. She should also fill this in her questionnaire.

I hope this helps... I stand corrected on any information given so fat

Hi everyone... I need a quick answer to this question.. Though I have been in canada for 3yrs (graduated and working) I wanna do my Credential evaluation to apply for my permanent residency. I discovered high school diploma is now part of credentials that must me evaluated. So how do I get waec or neco to send my official high school transcript directly to WES or any Credential evaluation body?? Pls I need this asap. Thank you..

My friend went to WAEC to get his certificate sent to WES. I think we spent almost 25k. The instruction to do this is at the entrance to the receptionist office at WAEC yaba. Or just speak with the receptionist. Opposite WAEC office, you Can get an affidavit for (2-4k) shaa bargain. the court people are there, for a fee with your passport photo. You have to pay 10k to the WAEC finance office and buy 2 envelopes that will be addressed to WES with your Ref no printed on top(Very impprtant). Then you need to pay I think N9 500 for courier to Canada. Once you submit this to the WAEC office. They will sort your certificate and send. If you a copy you can bring along to help ease the search. Once WAEC does its part, UPS will pick up and you will get a message with a tracking number to know when it will arrive Canada. Then you can log on to your WES platform and check update. Note that WES will send a letter to WAEC to verify. Once they receive WAEC response, I believe then do the needful. You can track this. Once you hear a letter has been sent to WAEC. Pray that they respond early. All the best

Equivalent of $10,000 in CAD. This is the maximum .
So if he decides to take 10,000CAD, it's fine as it still falls within the allowed amount.

Good morning gurus, just an addendum to my earlier post. There has been transactions in her current account cos it's her salary account. However, there is currently no balance as her funds are in investments. How many months do you think she should build the funds in current account before printing statement to apply?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Austacus: 7:42am On Oct 25, 2018
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for the way that You have led us so far, and I ask Lord that You would undertake for the soon release of our visa, which is taking so long to go through the application and approval process.

Lord, we don’t understand the reason for the long delay, but trust that You will intervene in this matter, and allow the papers to be released in time for the proposed visit abroad.

Lord, You have promised that those that put their trust in You will not be disappointed. Hear my petition I pray, and allow the visa to be released speedily - and we will give You all the praise and all the glory, this I ask in Jesus name,

Amen
