22 year old Danish born midfielder who is eligible for Nigeria Philip Anyabwu Billing has emerged as a prime target for the senior national team of Nigeria, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively report.

Billing has already represented Denmark at at U19 and 21 level but he is yet to be capped at senior level leaving the Huddersfield midfield ace eligible for Nigeria and coach Gernot Rohr has indicated his interest in luring him.

Already his recently appointed scout Tunde Adelakun has been mandated to hold talks with the left footed central midfielder who has been a revelation for Huddersfield this season in the English Premier League.

Although Everton ace Ademola Lookman looks the surest bet to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria in the coming days, Billing has welcomed the talks base on initial contacts made with him.

The plan is to convince him to join the squad after the last round of qualifiers for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria a win away from qualifying ahead of their upcoming games against South Africa and later Seychelles.

Shameless liar. Awaziem played a few games? No team wants Awaziem? Lyon, Nantes and etienne wanted Awaziem.

Now in England;

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3438775/liverpool-hot-on-trail-on-porto-defender-chidozie-awaziem-as-jurgen-klopp-eyes-young-talent-across-europe/

https://owngoalnigeria.com/2018/04/02/porto-turn-down-bid-from-wolverhampton-wanderers-for-awaziem-want-him-back-after-nantes-loan/

Now show me who wanted Iorfa. grin grin

Wow !!!

You are so blinded by HATRED and Emotive negative prejudice that you have lost the ability to be rational.

There are no LIES HERE and certainly no Liars. Asking a question equates to LIES

Go back I asked a question about Awaziem particularly as he played quite a few games for Nantes. Quite a few equates to more than half of the season in my ambiguous diction.

If you have the courage you should apologise.

Top French clubs are already rumored to be on Odey's case. I hope he maintains this momentum, then lets see what January holds for him. Zuerich fans say his a better striker than the player(Ghanaian Dwamena, now of Levante Spain) he was brought in to replace.

Is there a trophy for who ever wins any argument?

Yes he plays for Porto B, but who are the other available options who U21 that can be in that midfield?

I don't.know how much was tabled. But some other clubs were interested too. Porto just didn't want to sell

Porto, Braga, Sporting, Benfica are all selling clubs that's thier business model. Very suprised they didn't sell, maybe greed they wanted way more than the value clubs have put on him.

in my opinion they treat African players like cattle I stopped dealing with Portuguese clubs in about 2015/16 prior to that they still had TPI.

It was Sporting that almost destroyed Rabui Ibrahim career.

I do not hate u, but if U believe I do, bro it doesn't pull no strand of hair off my body.

About the so called question, man we know ur intentions. Ur target was to ridicule the boy to make ur preferred players look good. U have been here bleating all day because of Nwakali, saying at 21, any player still in the youth team is a fluke, u forgot Nwakali was neither 21 nor in a youth team, u also forgot Iorfa at 22 abi 23 sef still plays for wolves youth team.

We can only imagine. The ones we can get now, are we doing enough? Everyone is shouting ebere, now it's more complicated. Ejaria is also an option, I hope they won't both become what ifs in the near future.

that guy reminds me of lampard every time but the English FA never delayed in giving him a call up...he was merely 20 when he got his first call up...then was already the age grade team captain..I think had it been the English FA delayed dude would have play for Nigeria....for him to acknowledge Nigeria as one of the two countries he was eligible to play for... @19 shows he had Nigeria in mind

sometimes I see reason in capping some of these foreign born players early prior...they hit their country main league...reason because many of them if well nurtured and encouraged will end up becoming stars
moreover they've been exposed to trainings and techniques right from infant stage which many home grown players never had.

imagine the quality we will have in the midfield positions if we eventually get the likes of onomah(shelfield wednesday),eze(qpr),billing(huddlesfield),ejaria(rangers) to change allegiance to us then mixed with the younger midfielders we already have such as ndidi(leicester),iwobi(arsenal),etebo(stoke),igbekeme(zaragoza). these are quality younger midfielders who can play together for many years to come

I am a realist,Nigeria don't pay well, they don't have the best facilities or medical staff or even scouts

They don't have good pitches and being a Nigerian won't improve your CV

Playing for Nigeria is a sacrifice many of these guys are not willing to take
